Well is appears we have 9 spots open and lots of names on this site. 1 question...which 9 do we want? An obvious answer could be the 9 5 and 4 stars, but there are also positions that need to be addressed. Here are my 9 (some are quite obvious):

1-DE, Carl Lawson
2-S, Vonn Bell
3-LB, Skai Moore
4-DT, Keith Bryant
5-RB, Derrick Green
6-DE, Jaylen Miller
7-WR, Marquez North
8-RB, Johnathan Ford
9-WR, Shelton Gibson

I know OL isn't listed and it will be a future need, but we have 4 committed already. We can make a huge push for OLine in 2014 and use some JuCos if need be. I want the Dline addressed. Adding the 3 names above to Carr and the guys we have now could potentially pose huge problems for opposing offenses. Also, offensive weaposn are a big need with CP and JH gone to the NFL.

Just my list. who do YOU want?

I Like your list matches mine almost to a T.
I agree that we should be okay with our oline with 4 coming in. If we lose Skipper I say we definitely try to take Morris

FYI - the OL prospects we have committed are the worst set of O-lineman we have ver recruited......EVER. Most don't even have offers from BCS schools. Atrocious.

Oh so you have seen them play and know they won't fit in Butch's new offensive scheme too?

Look at their offer lists and then come back and tell me they stack up well against the SEC and compare well to our previous OL classes in the last 5-10 years.

Actually all but Sanders have offers from BCS schools, and the only reason Sanders doesn't is because he shut his recruitment down over a year ago and has refused to talk to anyone including when Bama coaches showed up at his school.

BTW, what offensive scheme calls for athletically challenged O-lineman? The thought of these guys going against the freaks othe D-line at USCjr, UGA, UF, and Bama makes me want to cry.

Kiffin had a decent OL with the walk-on Sullins brothers starting. OL doesn't require stars to be a successful unit. Cohesion among the positions is equally important, IMO.

Wiesmans offer list is not great, although Ohio state stands out. Kendrick is a bit of a mystery as he's local and immediately committed. Arky has offered him now with pittman there. Sanders is 4 star top 250 player on rivals. Skippers offer list has become very solid even while committed. Not sure I would call that atrocious...

The scary part is compared to our DL and LB recruiting, our OL recruiting is incredible!

Unless we close with a lot of the guys you are mentioning, this class will be a joke. I don't want to here about the situation the staff inherited... This is currently one of the worst classes in the conference and combined with only a few players remaining from last year's class - the roster situation looks pretty bleak!

I sure hope these guys can coach - Butch Ryan, Mark Few style!!

By UT's standards for O lineman, it's embarassing.

Pick somebody else besides Gibson. He’s not going to get into the SEC.

That’d work.

Don't remember where I saw it but apparently he is coming on the 25 now. He said he always wanted to come visit here and that means interest is there. He is a beast as well. Looks like he could be a deep threat out of the slot or even on the outside.

Don't understand this at all. Sanders is an Army All American. Skipper was questioned at first and then offered by Michigan and took an OV at Ohio State. Weisman has an Ohio State offer and some say he outperformed Koehler and Morris in camp. Kendrick is local and is a Crowder type of take. Not that bad, geez.

Austin Sanders is a 4 star prospect and could go anywhere he wanted.

Dan Skipper is choosing between us Ohio State and Arky...

Bett Kendrick's rating is bogus because he committed to us early and everyone stopped recruiting him, if he was uncommitted he would be a 4 star on rivals, or a high 3.

Dylan Wiesman is a 3 star that had his pick of any Big 10/Big East school and half the SEC schools.

Fade you should stick to the Football forum...

Breaking News - Rivals, Scout, and Espn assign player rankings based on when they commit! False, you are a moron!
