So whats the fan excuse now?

As for me, I had 6 hours on the road ahead of me and didn't want to listen to the gator bull**** for the rest of the game.

As for the original posters -- I paid for my tickets, not you.

1. I didn't know it was written that you cannot comment on attendance if you weren't there. If you want to open that can of worms then you cannot make any analysis regard today's game because 1. You're not a player 2. You're not a coach and 3. You're not a paid analyst.

2. I don't know, that's for you to decide not me.

You criticized the fans for leaving early at a game you didn't attend. I think what he was trying to say was 'shut up'.

I think the OP is right. I was sitting in section QQ and I feel personally responsible for that interception in the endzone. I wasn't giving enough telekinetic positivity to the offense. Put this one on me guys. My bad.

I lost the remote or I would have changed the channel. So I stayed for the whole game in my nice easy chair, because I am not going to pay that much money to watch a team that can't win. I saved a bunch of money on gas, tickets and food by staying home and watching that so called game.

Because we suck. Plain and simple. We have the worst secondary in football. Its embarrassing. But man we are so much better now that Fulmer is gone. At least we are not mediocre.

It's hard to cover receivers when the pass rush is non-existent...wonder if your big lazy behind could play cb or safety?

Well, it's a bit more believeable than calling in dead, which does lack some credibility.

I'm just saying...

Personally, I like the "Appendicitis Excuse." It never fails, and nobody ever questions it.

Unfortunately, you can only use it once.

I sat in section Z13 (right beside the Gator band and section) sweating my arse off crammed in to the fattest human beings on earth (side note, noticing the population in Neyland, we as a state have a weight problem, or I just always have bad luck).

Look man, everyone is blasting you because you blasted the entire fanbase with your statement. I stood and yelled the entire time, also spent about $300 this weekend doing it and getting back to Nashville, and we still didn't win. I don't blame people for wanting to leave, they paid good money for the seats and everything that comes with it. It was brutally hot and miserable on the field when we really needed something to happen.

You blasting everyone because of their choices, and you chose to skip the game for a cooking competition, so why can't I blast you? I have a family to feed, I have a career, and everything else that comes with it. I still made the game.

I think it's ridiculous to skip home games for cooking competitions. What a fan you really are.

Doodle Soup Festival in Bradford, TN this week. We have a family business and had to set up as vendors and were in cooking competitions. Great place for advertisement, but I did make sure to get home for the game from 2:30 to 6 and then went back after it was over. Kesling is too hard to listen to IMO.

Soup Nazi I assume.

My face, neck, and arms are incredibly sun burnt, I stood and yelled for hours on end, got to the stadium at 10 am to spend my money on Tennessee merchandise, sat outside some more on a concrete curb to support the team on the Vol walk, listened to go gators all day long, and drove from Nashville on my only day off with my family to go to the game, and a guy who was at a noodle competition has the nerve to ask why I left early...

Dude you are a giant fail.

I always say, if your team can't beat the other team, atleast you can beat the traffic.

That reminds me: who won?

And did anybody leave early?

For those wondering why I think the future is so bright here and are not big following recruiting, here is my post on why I think we are in great shape starting next year and especially in 2011.

This class may not be ranked the highest but it will be the best class UT has had in a long, long time if we get Richardson and Clear. People may accuse me of having orange colored glasses on but Randolph will be the best defensive player we get this year and that's not a knock on anyone, it's because Randolph is one of the top 10 DBs in this class. Rivals says otherwise because of an injury last year, but that kid is a star.

People get so mad at me because I think the future is bright.

Yet, they don't realize we have two guys that will be lock down corners for 2 more years after this year (Gordon and Teague). We have Walls and Hughes at DT next year with guys like Miller, Jeffery, Saulsberry and then Carson, a JUCO guy, and 1 of Wright/Johnson/Gosha/Bell.

DE- Jackson, Martin, Smith, Miller, Parker, and whoever else we get in this class
Then at LB we return everyone except Reveiz and probably will land A.J. Johnson. In Reveiz spot, Austin Johnson will go.

At the safety position, we have Janzen Jackson and then Randolph/Martin/Loften/Waggoner/Brewer at the other one.

QB- Bray and Worley
RB- Poole/Oku/Neal/Williams
WR- Hunter, Rogers, Milton, Rogers, and possibly Arnett and Dallas.
TE- Clear, Power, Rivera
OL- James, Thomas, Stone, Fulton, Gooch, Schofield, Pair, Pope, Kerbyson, Crowder, Posey, and hopefully Richardson.

I know this is long but how can I not get excited when I actually see good depth and talent starting across the board next year.

No sir, I think you are spot on. We played the mighty gators pretty damned well, and I am proud of the effort that these kids put out for that. With 18 TRUE Freshmen on the 2 deep, and Coach Dooley and staff walking into a very depleted team and getting the results he has so far.. I am with you. I am excited about the future. Who cares what the negavols think. They are all probably just out of high school anyway, and have no clue about the process. Don't let the babies get you down.

A real fan would call in sick.

You advocate THAT.. but you say this:
BS. Fans yelled all day. Players let the fans down
* Interception in the end zone
* Kickoff out of bounds
* Fumble after a huge gain in the 4th quarter
* Poor coverage on the kickoff; tack a facemask onto that
* Interception at your 30
* Poor play on fake punt.
* Mistake, mistake, mistake

Players let the fans down, as usual.

I THOUGHT at one time YOU were a real fan.. but judging by that post I think maybe you are just bipolar.
