I am one that for several years has defended our CHFC, until this year. I couldnt have imagined at this point we would be sitting at 2-4...anyway, I also supported Coach Majors till the end, I guess I have an issue, but since UCLA, I have agreed it is time for a change. The idea has started to sink in, and I will admit, I am a little excited now. I don't know as much as some of you about other coaches, but I do like Muschamp's fire, and I like Butch Davis, not sure about Kiffen and some of the others. ive been reading on here about some "secret meetings" the boosters are having, and how Hammy ain't skeered to fire CPF, and many of you are already conceding that there will indeed be a new Coach when the season begins next year, and then I read this morning that yesterday CPF says he is getting alot of support from Hamilton and the trustees, and that they have faith that "this season can be turned around." This season can be turned around? So do they believe that we would all be happy if we win out from here? We will be sayisfied with 7-4? Sure I'd love to beat bama, love to beat Carolina, that would be great to win out, but 7-4 is still not acceptable! And it's not just this season, its a cumulation of the past several seasons in which we have underachieved. I seriously doubt that we win more than 3 of our remaining games, which would still leave us at 5-6, but it ticks me off that they could believe that if we can "turn things around" and finish 7-4, and get a trip to some podunk bowl game , that we fans will be satisfied. I tell you this, if that ends up being the case, I will no way renew my VASF donation and I will let them keep my season tickets. I love Tennessee Football, it is a huge part of my life and my families, and we have sacrificed alot over the past few years to be able to pay for our season tickets, and I'm not trying to be a bandwagon fan, but how else do we get our point across as fans? I don't boo at games, I won't wear a bag over my face. I have supported this regime for years, good and bad. But I know, you all know, and I think hammy and CPF know, its time.

7-5 don't renew your tickets and vasf donation. Set at home for the rest of our games. Paragraphs are your friend.

Hamilton has said he wants to wait until the end of the season to make a decision. He did also say he would make a change mid season if he thought it was necessary.
The truth is if fulmer were to perform some sort of miracle and win he job is safe. According to his contract if that were to happen he would also get a raise and extension.
I personally dont think there is any chance whatsover of an 8-4 season. At 7-5 fulmer is probably also safe. Hamilton said we dont want to be a .500 ball team which leads me to believe a change will be made if we go 6-6.

I think a loss to bama is almost a sure thing. If fulmer were to lose to MSU this weekend a change with then also almost be a sure thing.

I do believe the money boosters are still behind Fulmer, and he is not going anywhere! Fire him for the betterment of the program, and let him become a fund raiser for the university, with his large ego, he can raise alot of money for the university. He only wants to hang on till he breakes Neyland's record for wins, but I do not believe anyone can endure the coming years that it will take him to break the record.

The truth is that all of the things said are truly speculation.
Hamilton doesn't want to Phire Phil.

BUT.............

He doesn't want to get canned also or create a media frenzy around his office.

Speaking through political overtones is a sure way to not only light a phire under Phils big orange a$$ but also to avoid threatening someone's job publicly.

I personally think the inevitable is coming. We will not win out and we will be lucky to go 4-2 the rest of the season.

If we don't see a rapid turn around we will surely see the end of Phil.:crossfingers:
