Last I heard last season they swapped him from wr to cb...and he never sniffed the field. Is he still on the team? Just wondering I remember him being a 4 star commit in Kiffins class. Does he just wreak of bust?

How did I know that was coming?

On a serious note, I wasn't aware that Meline was gone, either. That sucks. I was hoping that he'd get moved back to WR with all the DB talent coming in this class.

When they can't handle the heat of serious competition and get on the field they have to go somewhere else and try again.

These are the types that better get a good education in a field that matters because playing on Sundays is a crack pipe dream.

VFL...GO BIG ORANGE!!!

Another holier than thou presumptuous judgment against a player. We don't know why he transferred, most didn't even know he had. Could be the kid had his heart set on being a WR and when switched to defense, opted out. Both you and I have certainly been in situations where we were forced to do something we didn't really want to do. You can quietly go along, protest and go along, commit some stupid destructive act, or say "no thank you" I will go where I can hopefully pursue my dream. Too many of us don't have the guts to do the last choice. We're too timid, afraid of the risk, lack faith, or any number of reasons we don't act. So if anything at all we should thank him for his Vol time and hope the very best for him. he has every right to decide for himself what he wants to be whether it's what we want him to be it or not. :furious3:

Lets just blame everything on GJ, why not. It is an awful thing to do to bond with a coach and stay in contact and still admire and look up to him isn't it. Especially when that coach is someone he can relate to like Trooper. Most of us really liked the charisma Trooper brought to our sidelines. He was a great recruiter regardless of how quality a person he may be(or lack therof) and it doesn't surprise me that former players under him still seek his council for advice and keep in contact with him.

This was blown out of proportion IMO

Besides your post I see no one making a federal case out of it. Maybe I missed a post or two that justifies your statement. I will read back and if I see at least three rants against GJ regarding Meline's transfer, I'd say you're spot on.

DaDuRkEr, I read back, only found my tongue in the cheek comment so cause for a federal case. Was hoping to find some GJ rants, they just weren't there. But then again, I'm no Monk or Perry Mason so. . . .

I hope Trooper is being paid for said council. Turn about is only fair play.
