Mike Hamilton started it...fired Fulmer, hired Kiffin with an almost non existing buyout, Kiffin leaves and he's in a rush to hire somebody considering how late it was and it was Doofus after being turned down by other coaches, my opinion at the time was put the interim HC tag on Kippy Brown and hire after the season so there was no rush and could've possibly landed a better coach

Honestly if Vandy had a decade like we had from 2010-2020, that would be the best decade they had in a very long time. 5 bowl games and 3 seasons where we won 8+ games? They’d sign up for that.

Everything but football and women’s basketball was already headed in the right direction when Danny showed up. Brought Heupel with him and that worked out better than anyone thought it would to this point. But most of the AD was doing really well even under Fulmer, Hart got Barnes, and the one decent thing Currie ever did was find Vitello. It took a village.

I can still remember the New-Sentinel headline after the loss to Vandy that year, in huge, bold letters: ROCKY BOTTOM. Ugh.
