So what bowl games are we looking at now?

Maybe. In that situation, you have given UGa a pretty good win a well, putting them in the mix.

I don't have a crystal ball, and there is still football to be played, but right now I think it unlikely that we skip over enough of the teams I perceive as in front of us to make Outback or Cotton. I think we are somewhere in the muck with the rest (and ahead of Kentucky) for the Peach, MC, Liberty, and Ind.

I think in this situation, the Peach is going to want to keep UGA. It would be a pretty good matchup v. an ACC opponent. That could vault us.

I would think TN would have an advantage over GA if the two had similar records. Big difference between a team coming up and a team having a down year - at least as far as enthusiasm and fan travel.

1. BCS Bowls
2. Capital One
3. Cotton and Outback
4. Chick-fil-a

After that, I'm not sure. Maybe Music City. It might rotate on a yearly basis, not sure.

think it switches off between music city and independence every so often, but the rules/order kinda get foggy after that

1. BCS
2. CapOne
3-5. Outback, Chicken, and Cotton work with the conference, with Outback preferring East and Cotton preferring West
6-7. Music City and Liberty select in no particular order but with consultation with league office
8. Independence
9. Pizza

Auburn is going to beat Georgia.
I'm not sure which bowl that will put us in at 7-5 (hopefully)

I guess the Pizza Bowl changed, because last year it was NCSU vs. USF.
BTW, that was the most boring football game of all time.

Without looking it up, I believe the SEC was unable to fill all of its 10 (with 2 in the BCS) spots last year, so it was filled by another conference.

Living just south of Atlanta the CFA would be cool with me! I wouldn't have to travel very far to go to it.... I could also score some free tix b/c I have a ton of friends who work for CFA corporate in Hapeville!!!

Ole Miss 8-4
Tennessee 7-5
UGA 7-5
Auburn 7-5
SClite 7-5 or 6-6

The Outback Bowl is still possible, because Ole Miss will get the Cotton. These Bowl games would love to get Kiffin. This is if we win out of course.

I agree with this. The Outback is still a possibility assuming we win out and Ole Miss finishes with at least 8 wins and the Cotton Bowl takes them.

This doesn't make any since... even if auburn does finish
7-5, assuming that finish 7-5 as well, then why wouldn't they be chosen for the outback bowl? I mean they did beat us.

the lower / non BCS bowls dont use who beat who as a barometer or tiebreaker for their choices

they go with final standings, and then who's fans will travel well and who will get the best TV audience

hahahahaha. wow, a loss a certainly turned some here into end of days prophets. Guys and gals, it is one very poorly played game. We got owned. We are not dead. This defense has carried us all season and the run game got shut down. We have more games and we're okay. Take a breath.

Maybe not,but definitely on life support.

I posted that before I saw today's score. I figured they would lose to Wake. Just goes to show you what I know. :)

lol. it's ok. Honestly I was hoping wake would pull that out. My friend's a wake fan and in the off chance that both teams ended up in the music city bowl, we were both going to go

Wake's gassed at this point. Too many games of giving it their all and losing it at the very end.

Barring anything astonishing like Auburn beating Bama or FSU beating Florida, we're going to have a very good idea where we're going after tonight's games.
