I like Ted Meline but I am worried this might affect Cobbs decision. We also have Kenny Stills coming into town this weekend who could easily commit. In the artilce on Ted he said Tennessee is recruiting him as an Athlete so does that mean we are still going after a WR?

What's everyone's opinion on this? Should we hold out for Cobbs or take Stills..

I think we have room for Cobbs AND Stills if they want. Meline is an athlete but he will be a receiver. I think if Stills wants to commit, Cobbs will shy away but if Cobbs commits, Stills still might. All I know is that our receiving corps is going to be ridiculous.

well if Cobbs doesn't come to UT because of too much competition then I don't want him anyway.

Agreed...

Think Evan Hailes on this one...

I know that our coaches sure don't want players who are worried about competition...

Competition in practice is what will take us to another level on Saturdays...

It doesn't matter how good Cobbs is...if he cools on us because we've got too many highly rated WR's committed then this coaching staff will cool on him too

I think cobbs would make an awesome safety with his size and athleticism. Rivals says he had 2 int's last year.. anyone know how many tackles he racked up?

Nothing, From what i've read, i'd say they are equal. Both of their offer lists are very impressive so I would take either and both are ranked 120-130 range in the Rivals250

Where did you get that information???

His article he said that WR is his thing....

There was an article on here not too long ago-an interview with his mentor/handler-that talked about how Meline wanted a crack at Safety first. He likes WR but is preference is on D.
