I agree with you. That's a solid comparison. I knew how good Appy State really was. All you have to do is look at the last 3 years and the veteran team they have. It's also obvious that Debord did not open up the play book. However, we did get our ass whooped on both sides of the ball as far as being physical and that was not acceptable. They smacked our guys around all night and our boys didn't respond well. I'm also concerned about the blame game that I'm seeing on our sideline from coaches and players. I get tired of seeing Butch complain to refs all game when our guys get physically hit the wrong way. Man up and smack them back in the mouth.
