...we can throw players under the bus anytime right?

Listened to Jimmy Hyams eviscerating Da'Rick Rogers today on the radio. Called him a "cancer", said he should be sent back to Calhoun. This is the same joker who won't say Dooley is a bad coach, always says that we have to give him time, blah blah blah.

So, I'm curious, why is it cool to call for a 20 year old kid to be kicked off the team, but you can't evaluate a grown man making 7 figures?

Also, I know that blame-the-players is in full effect for Dooley apologists these days, but let's not kid ourselves, we don't win that Vanderbilt game without Rogers' one handed grab in the end zone on 4th and goal. He may be a headcase, but he's shown me more this season than the coaching staff has. If he's a cancer, you have to get rid of him, but without him, this staff wouldn't have won a single SEC game this season.

I don't know with Dooley I say one more year. With Rogers I need 2 more years to see what he going to do. He not showed me what I want to see yet so I think he needs 2 more years. Also Bray or Hunter has showed me either I think they need 2 more years to.

Listened to Jimmy Hyams

That's your first problem. This guy is a cancer. I am not sure I'll ever move past the BS that was the Hamilton interview the day before the NCAA basketball tournament. It was among the worst sports moments I've ever witnessed. Both on MH and JH.

Just out of curiosity - do you ever wonder who called the 4th down play to Rogers in the end zone? Did Rogers call it or the coaches? Last but not least - just who is tossing Rogers under the bus? The coaches or Hyams?

Give it a rest. Coach Dooley will be here next year, and hopefully for 20 years after that.

Does this really matter? He'll be gone after next season anyway. Doesn't really seem like a four year guy to me. He's playing for his NFL paycheck next season, maybe that will motivate him better than anything the media or anyone else says about him.

Bad attitudes from your star players is bad. Doesn't really matter who it is. If these guys are going to be the leaders of your team that's equally bad. Da'Rick had a good year on the field, apparently he's not much of a team player. We need more team players if we're ever going to get this thing going where we want it.

I use to think Alabama and Gator fans were terrible, turns out between the nega vols, trolls and pot stirrers, the Alabama/Gator fans seem normal.

I think there are people on here who are in a competition to see who can get the highest posts in their threads from spewing garbage.

Dang! everyone on here screams about getting those 5 & 4 star players. Then, we decide to run them off when they get here. Idk how good a team player Darick is, but I know he took some big shots this year and hung on to the ball. I havent seen many other guys doing that at Tn lately. Guys lets get off the whole sky is falling give these guys a chance to grow up and become men. I have seen so many kids during my 19 years as a Marine grow up to be fine men, but it takes time and patience. Your talking about kids that have very little experience in the world and everything they see is new to them. I personally have seen 18/ 19 year old boys go to combat in Iraq and come back old men because of real life pressure. So, what I'm saying lets stop stomping these kids in the ground and try watering them a little and if they grow.

I agree they all need to grow up. Hope that Bamboo sprouts up a lot this offseason. I guess the best part is more guys are coming in to take their playing time if they don't.
