During the season when it was a bash fest on here, some of us would defend the staff and the players. Many of you on here would cry like a 3 year old who dropped their candy and "shout" at the rest of us that you only bash the staff. Well, I suggest you read the thread on North, Kamara. Phillips and Blair.
When Jones states we have the best fans in America it's obvious he doesn't read this site. Clay Travis has called us a dumb fan base. As much as it pains me to agree with him, he is right.
Those of you bashing these kids should be ashamed. It's very easy to discuss their situation or rumored situation without bashing them.

It's a fine line between passion and stupidity.

I have a hard time bashing guys playing this game for free.

I think its pretty stupid and petty to bash a player for transferring or leaving early. The player has to do what they think is right for them. That decision may turn out to be a bad one but I am pretty sure there are plenty of us on here that have made a bad decision before.

Even if you're just limiting your criticism to VN, this is still painting with a broad brush. There are always well wishes for players who choose to move on, the North thread being no exception.

I'm really curious as to what incited this thought at this point in the off-season? Are you just really bored or you just looking to stir the pot with people?

Wylo you don't bash player (or not that I've seen) but just go through the North, Kamara and Phillips threads. Also the admin deleted a thread that was a total bash thread on Blair. It's shameful.

You're on a free message board. It's possible, and likely probable, that many of your vocal yokels have never put a dime of support into this program, but they're the loudest mouths when we're winning AND when we're down.

It's a message board on the internet. Look around at ANY team's board, and it's the same stuff with different colors and roster names.

look, when you got 100's of thousands of die hard fans, its gone happen, did you attend the bowl game, you should heard what some folks were yelling at the kids esp JJ after those two dumb PF for 15 yards.....

these things happen and post like yours only stoke those fires........but saying we have a dumb fan base is equally as silly as calling out meat heads for yelling at kids.....agreeing with Clay Travis, cmon man.....

admit it, you just wanted to vent something negative with all the good news flowing this week....

Gotcha. I'll check them out. I don't understand bashing players. I think it's okay to call them out for dumb stuff, but not to totally pile on unless it's hurting the program type stupid stuff.

I don't know about the other threads, but Ive seen it,I don't agree with it, but it's a message board. You have to take the good with the bad

This goes back a while and many who are bashing the kids claim that it doesn't happen.
And just because this is a free message board it doesn't make it right.

Agreed. Even though my love for volnation is unconditional, I've learned alot about this fanbase over the last 3-4 years. Not all, but a portion of it is flat out embarrassing.

Is it bashing to point out that a recruit did not live up to his billing?
And that his scholarship would be better served for another recruit, given that he were willfully giving it up?
