To be honest, I really don't know all that much about the guy. I would just like to know where he will fit next year.

What type of player is he?
3 pt shooter?
Good jump shot?
Ball handling?
Expectations for next year?
Role on the team?
Overall potential?

Feel free to answer one or all of the questions. Add your own if you'd like. I just want know more about him.

Thanks to all who answer.

He's a 6'5" shooting guard.
He's got a nice jumpshot, can shoot the three. He's a decent ball handler but I'd never expect to see him try and run the point. He'll start next year. His role on the team (along with hopefully Hopson) next year will be our outside threat, but is also very athletic and can take it to the hole.

Lots and lots of potential.

Tatum is a wing with a ton of upside. He is a good scorer, but not a great one. He can penetrate, drive to the basket, shoot threes, and defend. I think he will be a good player next year.

He'll start.

He can play the 2 or 3, and so can Hopson. One of them will be the 2 and will be the 3.

Yep. A potential starting lineup of Ramar, Tatum, Hopson, Tyler and Chism makes me quite optimistic about next season.

I hope we are good enough to not start Prince next season. Trust me, I really hope we are. Landing Hopson would help in that regards. But Pearl changed the lineup just to get him on the floor at the end of the season. Why do you think he is all the sudden not going to start?

So are yall pretty much saying that Wooldridge will be non-existent and redshirt? I mean I thought he was something like a top 15 SF. Sounds to me like he would be competing for some pt. He has great genes, and from what I heard he reminds me a lot of less talented Tyler Smith possibly.

What type of player is he? Slasher with good all-around offensive game. Explosive athlete
3 pt shooter? Good
Good jump shot? Yes.
Ball handling? Good but can always use work
Expectations for next year? Freshman First team SEC. Second Team All-SEC is not out of the question.
Role on the team? Scorer.
Overall potential? Great potential.

I can't wait to see the press at full throttle next year. We will have athletes at every position and the press is going to do wonders.

Assuming we get Hopson and Tyler stays the lineup will be:

1) West/Ramar (either could start)
2) Hopson/Tabb
3) Tatum/JP
4) Tyler/Duke
5) Wayne/Brian/P Jurick

I'm glad your not coaching. You have 3 brand new starters with no college playing time? Have you seen our non conference schedule next year. No way Tatum starts if Tyler stays and Hopson comes here. Ramar, Hopson, Tyler, Wayne and BW will be your starters. BW will be your enforcer in the middle and Wayne will play the 4 more than the 5. Pearl will attempt to fix our rebounding problems.

I really don't think Tyler stays though, so it will probably be wide open.

That, my friend, is a squad that will win a LOT of games. Just imagining how much better we could defensively and how much more effective the press could be with that much more size and athleticism.

However, Tyler goes to the NBA and we don't get Hopson, and it looks like

1) Ramar/West
2) Tatum/Tabb
3) JP
4) Duke/Childress (oh god no)
5) Chism/Williams

Not exactly fearsome. A bubble team, that is.

If that situation comes it will look more like:
1) Ramar/West
2) Tatum/Tabb
3) JP/Renaldo
4) Chism/Crews
5) Williams/Jurich

That team puts you in at a solid 4-6 seed IMO. Maybe up to a 3.
