So targeting is....

I said before Middleton is 6'7" tall. All players have to bend their knees to make a tackle. If Middleton doesn't bend his knees then he is coming in high. Then they get him for hands to the face. It was a no win situation for the player. If you are Middleton to make that tackle 10 times out of 10 because the goal is to disrupt the pass. Football rules are hurting the true competitiveness of the game.
Guess we need to start recruiting 5’ 5” 340 pounders that are 5 ‘ wide

The NFL should redesign QB uniforms to make helmets and any “can’t hit” areas red. And equip with sensors to automatically signal a penalty if you hit there.

Well, that’s ball game. Whoever wins the 1st half of the 3rd quarter usually wins the game. We flopped.

How about the targeting on Byrd head to head just now I can hate the rule but it wasn’t called OK. It’s UT does not apply

I can’t say if that was or not, but it wasn’t a QB who wasn’t on the run......slight difference.

It did seem quite a bit late.

I hate to keep bringing up the refs, in part because we have the benefit of "instant replay", but dang, they're horrible ! Just missing obvious, egregious penalties. I'm proud of the boys for staying focused and not letting it effect them. Kudos to Coach Pruitt for chewing them a new one.

But it’s fine for a running back to lower his head and smash defenders. If the helmets are in the way eliminate them.
