I don't know about you all,but I want this guy gone, just because they're going to win gainst MS. State really doesn't mean anything. They are playing against an awful team. Alabama will most likely beat them next week and I still think Phil needs to go. He is not doing this team any favors!!!

Come on, beating MS State is like taking candy from a baby. What kind of accomplishment is that?

Getting destroyed next week will add another notch to better chances in seeing Phil gone.

It does cause concern that Fulmer might somehow rally to a 6-6 finish and hail the great improvement over the season to save his job, doesn't it?

I believe Tenn. will win out. Phil will be here forever. Then all of you can bitch as much as you want to. :birgits_giggle:

Haha, win out?? really? I need to get my hands on whatever youve been drinking. I can see it now, we'll lose 6 games (not enough to get rid of phil), and call it a "rebuilding year". Only thing is I've heard about us "rebuilding for a couple years now" . Since when did it become alright for the Vols to be mediocre? Heard people calling the Georgia game last week a "moral victory", since have the vols used to the term "moral victory"? I thought that term was reserved for Vanderbilt fans - of course I dont wanna say too much about the dores, cause theyre prolly gonna beat us in nashville this year.

I doubt that a 3-4 record is cause for worry yet. I still project them to lose to Bama and SC with a split to vandy and ky which will be 5-7. Even a 6-6 finish against the sec bottomfeeders will not do it 4 Phil. I just find it soooo hard to believe that Jim Haslam can be happy about PF getting the Generals record. He played for Neyland on the 51 NC team for gosh sakes. To see PF limp into that record is like watching Aryan (oops) Foster getting the all time leading rusher record 1 yard at a time.

was the (oops) a joke on fumbling or meant to point out the mis-spelling of his name?

I meant the fumbles of course. Did I misspell his name? Thats how all the other Aryans I know spell theirs.

Agree, I don't want to hear about improvement based on this game alone. It will take way more than beating a lousy MSU team with horrific QB play.
