So... O line?

Post-Game impressions:

1. O-line looks much better. Only 1 Sack, Dobbs had time in the pocket, and almost 400 yards rushing. Great job o-line.

2. Defense worried me greatly at first....and still have some concern. Front four could not get pressure, got burned a few times on QB keep on read option, and too many receivers wide open. D looked better after the delay, TK Jr. Seemed to have a positive effect, and looked much better. Believe that CWM return will help defensive backs, but this does appear to be our weakness, at least initially.

3. Special teams were special. Great returns and FG block. Missed FGs are a concern, but our punt and KO returns set us up with short fields.

4. I do believe we underestimated their offense. They have great speed and a very accurate QB. We need to be able to go with man coverage and blitzes in future games, but not sure if our DBs are ready for that.

I'll sleep okay telling myself our D did not game plan a lot for their O and wanted to go vanilla. I'll be restless because I wanted more pressure from out front four.

Next week will tell us a lot about team #119.

I think my DVR wasn't set for 7 hrs so I'll miss my replay until SEC network cuts it. I was impressed with our o line. Better than I thought honestly. What's your thoughts?

Hard to truly gauge since it was against Bowling Green. However, almost 400 yards rushing was a pleasant surprise. They did better than I expected today, and can't say anything bad about their play.

I agree duck, and I was really down on them coming in. I realize our scheme is not a pound it up the middle thing so I'm OK with the outside runs but would like to see more inside production just in case we need it. Overall I was impressed with them.
