I swear to you Volly, My comment about "true fans" was on purpose and worded carefully. They have no clue, but think they are so smart. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. I have posted what they will say, and damned if they don't say it almost word for word.

It's February. It's fun to anticipate the season and be optimistic. It's also fine to talk a little smack and be a little cocky about how good the team will be.

What isn't fun, is posters who feel the need to come into every thread (and let's be honest here BeardedVol - the title of the thread could not have indicated more clearly what it was about) to tell everyone else why they shouldn't feel optimistic.

We get it. You expect a bad season. You don't have to post it in every. single. thread.

Hey Behr. Don't think she was replying to you. Beardedvol stepped in with another "I'm gonna rain on your parade" moment. His cronies will show up soon. If not they're at the laptop gritting their teeth with fists squeezed tight. I'm with wildasamink except for bama. Just don't believe we have this year for satan but I pray I'm wrong.

It was a season of highs and lows. 5-0 start? Yeah lackluster games vs App State and Ohio. But we whooped up on VT, FINALLY beat UF, and won AT UGA with a hail freakin' mary. BUT. Unfortunately the lows are more recent in the memory. All we had to do is beat terrible Scar and Vandy teams to go 10-2, win the east, and play in the Sugar Bowl. It was a huge disappointment.

No...actually..."they" make fun of the Goobers that declare Tennessee Vols "Champions" throughout the ENTIRE football off-season...

Only to lose 4-5 games annually (3 out of the last 5 to Vandy and O for LIFE against Muschamp)...and then immediately claim "Championships" won in the next off-season...lather and repeat...

And then you see things like this...

Until hopes of a championship are took , that's all I hope for and if we lose then I find the next best thing, you?

Awesome inst it? If you only pick the good parts to pay attention too, then maybe one day you can be a true fan too.
