So much disrespect for Coach Fulmer on this board.

Are you serious?

Meth Kills.

The "40 years" was a reference that he used for Fulmer...and yes, I stand by the statement about CLK and discipline.
I was a vendor to the UT-AD for several years during CPF's tenure. I watched many practices and even more off-season work outs. The players ran the show under Fulmer and it caught up with him.
I know you think Fulmer is the greatest coach in the history of football, but you would be wrong.
Fulmer is a fine man, but the program got him where he was. Not the other way around.

Hate to break it to you, but anyone that would even suggest that "we've got more discipline now than we've had in 40 yrs" has to be on drugs or 8 yrs of age.

If you have doubts concerning the level of discipline, ask EJ Abrams-Ward, Ramone Johnson, Cody Pope, or any of the players requesting morphine because of the muscle pain they've experienced since the hiring of our new strength coach. You also might ask the NFL scouts that described Anthony Parker as flabby and out of shape.

I don't think that Fulmer is the "greatest", but I also don't think that Kiffin is capable of HC a WAC Conf school, much less an SEC program.

No one denies that Fulmer got lazy the past few years. But before you go asserting that are players are disciplined because they're taking pain medication, you might want to hold that thought till spring.

I think everybody should hold on before making assumptions on anything. That means in due time we will see if he has change the discipline on this team. Standing here saying that he has not, and will not is assumption as well as saying that he has.

Time will tell.

Get off the board...there is no room for reason here.

Here's a stat.....Georgia is the winningest SEC team since Richt got there in 2001.

Yeah, terrible company Richt is keeping with Fulmer.

Congrats, you can read a stats book.

Both of those coaches did less with more than anyone. Even you can admit that.

Don't insult Pete Carroll, Bobby Bowden, and Joe Paterno by adding those names next to them.

I don't think that anyone will agree with you come spring. Muscle will replace flab and players will finally be coached by men who are motivated by winning and haven't became complacent.

Kiffin's lack of discipline has EVERYTHING to do with our record in 2009.

Do you even think before you post?
People very close to the program are telling you how much the level of discipline has changed and you refuse to listen.

And tell me again why you think he lacks discipline?

He's either a) too stupid to know the rules, therefore he is not disciplined enough to have learned them (this is an obvious rule, not some secondary afterthought), or b) did it to "fire up" the crowd, with shows a lack of discipline because he runs his mouth before considering the concequences if (when) he does fall on his face in the fall.

A) He missed only one question on the recruiting test. He knows the rules. B) I think he just doesn't give a crap about a bunch of mindless chatter. I also think he plans on winning. What a novel concept.

Either way, Spurrier made a very similar accusation a couple of months ago. He's a pretty damn good coach.

As for Kiffin's approach to discipline, Pete Carroll has stated that he actually learned some things about college football discipline from none other than our very own Lane Kiffin.

It's quite sad, in my opinion.

Those of you praising Kiffin for speaking out and bashing Fulmer for not doing that need to realize that they are obviously two different personalities.

Kiffin - Like Meyer and Miles

Fulmer - Richt, Carroll, Bowden, Paterno, Beamer, etc.

I personally bash Fulmer for speaking out. Like when he said only 5 percent of our fan base had a right to an opinion, and more recently, when he made up that Marlon Brown would have actually signed with UT had he still been the coach.
