I fully supported (and still support) the firing of Fulmer and the hiring of Kiffin, BUT HAVE SOME CLASS. Fulmer delivered some really good years, and being the "glass is half full person that I am, I prefer to celebrate this success. He is still the second best coach in Vol history.

Our O line sucks....so get off your high horse renfro

your exactly right. and phil coaches them. i am a firm believer in the coach is not always wrong the players have to take full responsibility, for the wyoming loss especially. just pissed off at the point we have reached struggling to score touchdowns.. this is not tennessee football

If it takes another 40 years before we win a national title, then my guess is you'll remember Fulmer more fondly.

100 more wins than losses suggests the man did much good here.

I also appreciate how he left us. He didn't cry and complain. He didn't pull a Zook or Tuberville and try to undermine the incoming coaches. He and his staff worked to make this team better. Over this past month, we've seen improvement. Kiffin and company can build on that in a positive manner and take Tennessee forward.

His dismissal was the right thing for Tennessee. But Fulmer will not be remembered for this season. He'll be remembered for the good things he did in Knoxville.
