So, Leach Isn't Coming?

Probably Doeren.

Many former players and some boosters are wanting Martin, and trying to make that happen. Not sure if it will, but if not that looks like the floor.

Many people do not want Martin, but he could be a good long term answer, and would certainly bring some back who have at least somewhat moved on.

We thought the last ten years were the Dark Ages. The true dark ages have just begun for Vol football. It will take another decade for Haslam Inc. to fade into obscurity. By that time we will be the equivalent of Kentucky football if we are lucky. There is a petition on Tigerdroppings on the SEC board to kick us out of the Big Six permanently. Vol football will never regain the relevancy that we had in the past. Those days are over I'm afraid.

Anyone know?

If Fulmer decides to pass over a brilliant offensive mind and respected coach like Mike Leach, then he'd better have something better up his sleeve... and FAST! I hope these stories I'm hearing about Fulmer tainting the coaching search behind the scenes are not true. If he passes over an experienced, successful head coach at a power 5 school in favor of a coordinator, No matter who it is, I'm done with all if it.

Whoever is responsible for killing the Leach deal, unless he is replaced by someone exceptional, must walk the plank. I'm sick of these incompetent, power-mad jerks destroying this university.
