So Jumper is now on the NFL radar

You put little stock into pro days and the combine.....unless you need the results from pro days and the combine to support your points/narratives.

Absolutely no one could have watched Moseley play the last 4 years and believed for one split second that he was capable of running 4.38. We all knew the kid was fast, but he played much “slower” than he’s actually capable of running in a straight line in shorts and a t-shirt. His 40 time helped him, his actual game play on video will not.

I always liked Emmanuel Moseley. Thought he was underrated. Solid player who has the ability to play in the NFL.

There's no reason he can't be another Justin Coleman. A quality reserve CB with spot starter abilities in the NFL.

So let me get this straight:

Jumper is on NFL Radar?

TN is more succesfull in BBall than Football?!?

And Colonel Sanders looks like Reba McEntire????:blink:

WTH?? Is this the End of Days???

.

I laughed out loud at the Colonel Sanders line. Good stuff. A like for you kind sir.

Given his coaches the last 4 years, I’ll agree that perhaps he can find a home and play in the nfl. Justin Coleman is clearly the best evidence that supports that idea. Kid struggled mightily at UT, but as we’re seeing, perhaps that means nothing and every kid coming out of the Bama Intern’s program deserves a mulligan. Would love to see Emmanuel find a home st the next level.... his first step was the 40 time....his next one is a bigger one...overcoming his “identity on film”.

Guess they’re hoping to use him for the 10 or so good plays a game he made rather than he 20 or so bad ones.

Well...someone in the NFL thinks something positive about him. Maybe if he is used in certain situations that allow him to use his strengths, he can have a successful role in the league. Unfortunately, UT had to use him much more often because he was the best option.....sad but true.

I always liked the kid and argued many times on here about his worth to the team.. I hope he has an excellent career and gets some good caoching

KMAC not being one of the 3 on the NFL radar is the bigger takeaway. His decision to leave early was ridiculous and that seems to becoming more clear.

Thing is, if he stayed another year and went to OL, if he were good, he'd have a chance to jump to anywhere between 1-3 rounds. As it is, he's a late round DL pick if at all, or a late round "developmental" pick as OL. SMH..

K-mac being looked at for OL is the big takeaway from that article, IMO.

IMO...not moving KMAc to offense opposite Smith was THE biggest of many Butch era bad decisions. Dude was never ment to play D. With the size of his lower body, he could stop a train coming at him. But, he never had take off or got penetration into anyone elses backfield. He got stood up most of the time. Hope he does well and makes a lot of money in the NFL as an outstanding offensive lineman.

Someone here suggested special teams and that might be the case. I could see him doing much better when he doesn’t have to make as many decisions. Aside from our line not really holding up enough of the blockers to keep them free, our linebackers had a knack for being in the wrong place to stop the runner last year.

If Jumper makes even an NFL practice squad I am practicing my "Triple-Lindy" and going back to college.
get to practicing... thats pretty much worst case for him. I am confident he will sign as a UFA and make a squad and have a career as a backup/ST guy.

I am not surprised. He played much better than most on this board wanted to admit.

Too many blown assignments and missed tackles. He was an average LB on the worst ever defense UT has fielded in the modern era. But yeah, totally "better than most wanted to admit". :)

Since he's one of the three Vols listed as expected to be drafted, I'd say he's on the NFL radar. Read that last bit of the article. I don't agree with his decision to leave, but it was his decision to make. I wish him nothing but the best.

Jumper gave his all, that’s for sure. I just don’t see him being good enough to ever play a down in the NFL. He isn’t quick enough to play sideline to sideline and had tremendous trouble shedding blocks in college. Unfortunately I saw him on the ground A LOT. With those issues, how is he ever going to make it in the NFL?
