I don't think we will have to worry. In Freaks defense I've noticed an increase of posters and I'm sure there has been an increase of lurkers as well. If I had to guess of all the people that frequent VN only 20% actually post. I'm just guessing. I could be wrong. Good job Freak. I haven't had any problems since the server upgrade. But NSD will be a good litmus test for the new servers.

There's no way to estimate the amount of traffic we will receive on NSD. We are getting more page views daily right now than we did on NSD last year so I'm expecting the traffic to be very significant on Wednesday.

With that said, we hope the new server holds up but there is no way to know for sure. I feel confident it will.... but I've been wrong before.

I have every confidence it'll be ok..... We survived the Kiffin ordeal (well.... most of us anyway. There ARE a few who just won't let it die....) and NSD will be a GO with the new server. Just remember.... The F5 button is your friend!!!!
