I actually think keeping him after a 2-10 would be good for the program. We have to show that our administration and powers that be are reasonable with their expectations. Giving someone a 3rd season after going 2-10 would communicate to the next group of candidates that they are guaranteed a fair shake. That extra bit of confidence could be the difference in a “yes” or “no” from the next big fish we go after.
Besides, letting our players have a 2nd or 3rd year in the same system could produce a drastic turnaround.
