Bama will try to keep Enos at all costs. If they take freeze UT needs to go after Enos and get it done. Either one would be a great hire.
People thought Sal was one of the best tooI agree. One of my best friend's is a big bama booster, and he has repeatedly told me he would rather see any coach leave than Enos. He said Enos has worked miracles will both quarterbacks, and is a very, very good recruiter. Enos has a good resume with SEC OC experience. Also, I like the idea of taking possibly the best coach away from bama.......2 birds with 1 stone.
I just think that’s the position we are in. Why wouldn’t he wait for the Alabama job?But another thing you have to think about is that if you don’t hire Freeze, your biggest rival is certainly going to. So really it comes down to how serious are you?
Are you going to get the biggest name on the market who has beaten bama in the past with Bo Wallace? Or are you getting Bama’s QB coach?
With that being said, you have to give Enos an interview, who obviously is available tonight.
To probably win a NC and propel himself to a top job? This isn’t hard. What does freeze gain by going to Bama? He’s clearly destined to be a HC in the SEC again soon, why show your goods to Saban? More importantly, why would Bama risk losing a supposedly great offensive mind in Enos by bringing in freeze who for sure won’t stay more than a year.
I hate to admit it, but if we don't get Freeze..... I'm so disgusted with the UT admin and the decade long **** show that I just don't care.I think it’s pretty clear that Freeze is headed to Bama since an announcement wasn’t made today and the Bama OC is headed to Maryland.
So who do all the “insiders” with “sources” have as the next guy?
Once again, it appears we’ve been Grudened.
