Anyone who is in the know will NOT tell if the students have enrolled at ANY school. It is a direct violation of the FERPA act ( federal education right to privacy act). that's not to say that they werent there touring the school and meeting prospective teachers. This is just one of those stories that will not be confirmed until its official and THE FAMILY states what school they attend.

To be honest these Gruden rumors are alot like reading the recruiting forum. Alot of hope and dreams with very little substance. Alot of the same guys in the Gruden threads saying he is coming and the proof is obvious are the same ones who post in the recruiting forum how every kid is a Vol lock and it's just a matter of time till the world knows. Of course when the kid chooses another school, they claim "grades", "character", "better guys on the board", "did not want them anyway". I would expect this Gruden thing plays out the same. "He was asking for the world and we just can't do it". "He is unproven on the college level", "MFL would not let him come". It's the same story with alot of UT fans. It's always going to go our way, until it does not. ALL recruits and coachhes want to be at Tennessee. Well, until they choose to go somewhere else. If people say they are not coming, deny, deny, deny and hold firm. When they don't come, prepare your excuses quickly.

Of course this rumor is absolutely not true, but I don't think FERPA would apply to a private school like Webb unless they receive federal funds.

It only matters if they did visit, which they did not. Having people in and admission process say they were NOT there and laugh about it is not any sort of a privacy violation.

My client respectfully request that the good posters of Vol Nation observe a level of privacy and decorum as it relates to his family.

Coach Gruden is a highly public figure through his work in the NFL and his work for the ESPN family of networks and expects to be in the light of the public.

As a deeply devout family man that will play incredibly well in living rooms, he requests that his wife and children be left to lead their lives without the public scrutiny.

As always, Coach Gruden respects the Vol family but reminds everyone that he is very happy in his current position at MNF but will look at all opportunities due to his competitive spirit.
