Let's make some bold predictions.

Eric Berry caliber? (home-run prospect, All-American freshman, record breaker sophomore year)

Gerald Riggs type? (Lots of hype for a B/B- player)

2nd coming of Ontario Smith? (Great potential, but will get kicked off the team for off-the-field problems)

Big time bust? What do you think?

Kiff and O said he's the best RB they have seen in HS since they recruited Reggie Bush @ USC. Time will tell this fall. Brown will be tested, as he will be going up against some of the nation's best defenses.

He'll be sort of like a mixture of Adrian Peterson, Barry Sanders, and Herschel Walker, except way better.

He will be who he is.The individual needs to shine through.

He reminds me of in style and build,of a young Tony Dorsett! You don't hear a lot of that comparaison. But it is my opinion and I'm sticking to it....

Skip Bayless's reasons Bryce Brown will not be a success at UT:

1) Brown is hyped too much. (Skip seems to think that when a player is hyped alot he will NEVER be good...he's been saying LeBron James is a bad player for 6 years now...ridiculous. Skip...just because someone is hyped doesn't mean they can't live up to it...LeBron has lived up to it and you HATE THAT, don't you?? lol)
2) Kansas's lack of talent made Brown look better than he really is. (Probably the only argument he has made that MIGHT hold an ounce of merit).
3) Brown had fishy advisors. (What does this have to do with Brown's ability to play football?)
4) Brown had interest in "20 schools." (So considering all the schools you get an offer from will make you a worse football player? And weighing all the options to make the biggest decision you've ever made in your life is a selfish and bad thing? WTF, Skip? Your other arguments are terrible, but this one is by far THE WORST!)

Skip is an idiot. Jemele Hill is also an idiot. She said, "Tennessee's paying their staff too much money" yet fails to mention that UT is the 4th highest paid coaching staff in the SEC. And she is on Al Davis's side...lol...funny stuff!

I hope a lot better than last # 1 running back we picked up, Brian Darden...:)

I think Brown will rewrite a lot of UT rushing records. His junior year is going to be ridiculous.

Freshman - 830yrds 10tds
Soph - 1210yrds 15tds
Jr - 1700yrds 21tds

Totals - 3740yrds 46tds

He becomes Tennessee's all time leading rusher and rushing tds.

.....and being extremely optimistic TN will be favorite to repeat as National Champs so BB comes back for his senior yr and puts up 2000+ yrds and 25+ tds:)
