Seems he's been there without anyone even batting an eye.

I was wondering this myself. So he can't be head coach, but he's hired as a DC at one of the most high profile schools in the country and it's fine? Did OSU fans throw a fit when he was hired?

They only cared about winning games. That has changed now. The OSU students are calling for his job. Goofy kids probably had no idea before today

My girlfriend is from Ohio...big OSU fan...she things Vol fans are crazy for doing all this...that you guys are not giving him a chance and it's no big deal what he was accsed of doing..so take it for what it's worth....but the stuff she has told me....it's really defferent up there.

Actually disputed allegations from over 20 years ago. If Schiano signed MOU - are Vols in legal/financial jeopardy?

Yeah. Never mind that his time at State Pen overlapped the Sandusky crap perfectly.

He was hired dec 2015. Sealed testimony released july 2016. It was not known at time of hire.

So over a year to arrange a revolt, yet crickets...

But we can rally the troops instantly with a bunch of message board traffic.

One, he's not the face of the program. I didn't even know Schiano was at OSU.

Two, Meyer could walk in to the town scare and take a **** on the steps of city hall, and the PSU fans would bronze it.

Three, the info didn't come out until after Schiano was hired.

Four, see Urban and Hernandez. No scruples.
That's about it.

I'll be real interested to see if A) people in Ohio don't start to ask these same questions about Schiano and B) if any other big name program makes Schiano the face of their program.

If she believes what he is accused of doing, which to be clear is knowing of a child being raped, you need to drop her ass fast.

Head coach of tennessee is a political position, right or wrong. Such a story could derail a candidacy. Currie was remiss in his duties of due diligence. The 1st day after the season ends he hires a coach(with no other hc prospects) with knowledge per court testimony of a pedophilia scandal. The degree of incompetence by currie is almost fictional. No one could be that arrogant or naive

I don’t know anything about Urban Meyer’s situation at OSU.

I do know that it is not unreasonable for us to want the leader of our football program to be someone with out these types of allegations leveled against them.

Greg Schiano is not a victim in all of this. And Tennessee fans are not crazy. Well, at least not in this case ...

I suspect most of them are a little more sophisticated than that. They don't look to lynch a man based on very flimsy circumstantial evidence.

So we should expect to see this superstar hired very soon as the head coach at a big name program, right? Who do you think will be lucky enough to get him? A&M? Arkansas? Maybe Auburn if Malzahn bolts or Nebraska if Frost decides not to go home? A guy who is this great of a coach has got to have schools beating down his door.

Ha! Not after this--and that is why he is asking for compensation for breach.

Whether or not he is a great coach (and I personally doubt he is) is not even the issue. Look at the threads. The man is being internet lynched because of hearsay and association.

Only at Tennessee. Idiots have bought into their own historical hype.

So Bradley just got walked with Mora at UCLA. Assume he did anyway.

When this all broke they both had jobs. Now after this neither might have a job and be too toxic. Going to be interesting to see this unfold for both of them.
