So....how are we feeling about Georgia?

No he most certainly is not. Jordan Davis is getting Heisman hype. That dude is the best interior DL since Aaron Donald or Ndamuking Suh. UGAs defense is anchored by Jordan Davis. Anderson is suspended indefinitely now. So what’s you point?
Why is he suspended? For being the defensive player of week 2 weeks in a row? Yes big #99 is a beast vs run.But J Davis will be a 1st 2and down player in NFL. Anderson will play every down at next level

Davis is no where close to Suh or Donald. totally different player

I dont like the matchup. Their DL against our OL. Hooker is to valuable to the rest of our season. I don't think staying in the pocket is a real option. Roll outs and misdirection. Or run straight at them. Their secondary is suspect if we can get time. Thats really about it. UGA is just on another level. Keep it respectable and come out healthy.
What concerns me is that having such fragile RBs will make us more or less one dimensional vs UGA. You let them tee off on Hooker and we could have the worst case scenario for S. Alabama and Vandy. I have very little faith in our OL.

I think he’s talking about Anderson from Alabama being the best, not the suspended Anderson from GA.

Not good. We are still a few recruiting cycles behind them unfortunately. Don’t get too upset with the final Saturday. Just stick to the process. If we finish 7-5 and win our bowl to finish 8-5, that’s pretty darn incredible and a fantastic job by Heupel.

Gotta say, it's going to be the toughest game we've played all year. Georgia has allowed only 59 points all year. The next closest SEC team to that is A&M, and that's a 73 point difference between the two.

This is an incredibly dominant defense, and their offense has scored two more points on the year than we have.

This is going to be a tough one. What are the keys to the game, and is there any way we take home a W?

Best guess is 42 -21 Dawgs maybe close at half. Game is in Neyland as long as crowd stays in it won't be a walk in the park for the visitors.

I'm not saying we're gonna pull it off....but if we hit a couple of big plays early I'm curious to see how the dawgs would react to the shellshock of giving up 14 points out of the gate

I'd like to see us defer to the 2nd half, get UGA to go 3 and out and then hit them deep on the 1st play for 6. then another 3 and out and another score within 3 plays. If we do this, at Neyland, I dont think they can recover.

What if Huepel out coaches recruiting and beats Georgia Saturday? The irony of the situation makes me think it may happen.

In a dream state I think we might beat UGA, GBO, but when I snap out of it I just hope we can stay within 17 points. So my prediction on the final is... UT-17 UGA 35.

GA is a complete team. We’re far from that.

But if I’m GA I don’t want to play this game. At all. TN can score in buckets really fast. And TN won’t quit. No lead is safe enough.

GA has everything to lose here. The pucker factor will be huge. Smart won’t get much sleep this week.

This would be a wet dream

What do you have to lose? Play O like we have been, throw in some wrinkles, make them earn their D ranking. On defense - pray, gamble like hell.....then pray some more. Throw the kitchen sink at them, don't play scared, and have some fun.

.....And come out of it relatively injury free. Like at QB.

What’s a 3 and out? Is that still allowed?

Hopefully, we catch them early for a couple of quick scores. Realistically, after that Georgia will do what they’ve done in every game I’ve seen. They wear you down, then wear you out in the last 20 minutes.

They have the depth to rotate quality players, resulting in them playing as strong in the 4Q as they do in the 1Q.

Still, we’re looking at 7-5 and a bowl!

Im gonna say the game plays out somewhere between how we felt against Ole Miss and Bama.

I think we will believe for 2-3 quarters but come up short. Just a little closer to a win than we did against Bama.
