I thought that was great. Dobbs and Hurd, honestly all of the players, put it all on the line today in an attempt to overcome Butch's ineptness.

Love the attitude from Dobbs. My goodness what a good coach could do with this team.....

I thought it was weak and lame... We have been dominated by them...

Dobbs is a true Vol and a hell of a QB. The idiots on here calling for Dormady have no idea what they're talking about.

Makes me sad.The coaching I mean. The team never backed down only the coaches.

I like Dobbs. He is a great athlete. But he is an average passer at best. QD is a better pure passer but nowhere near the athlete.

I feel for Hurd especially, he definitely would've been better off going elsewhere. Just an absolute beast. Hate watching him have to break multiple tackles just to get back to the line of scrimmage over and over. Don't even know what to say about the WRs.

Most generic "celebration" you can do when you score a TD on the road. Who hasn't done that when they come to Knoxville?

I agree with putting him in there, but I don't see how you can say he is a better pure passer until you see him in meaningful games. The vols need to find out though.

I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about. Did you see him play in HS? Have you seen him pass inaccurately? Have you seen him make plays with his feet? Have you seen him move his team down the field consistently? I have. Each QB has their skill set, pros & cons. So please tell me all of the games you have personally seen Mr. Dormady play. You don't even know where Boerne Texas is.

And I'll add, Quinten may not be as effective as Josh but we're never going to know as long as he's riding the bench are we? I understand that he doesn't want Josh to feel like he has lost confidence in him but all I'm saying is you have two talented QBs and why do you not use the skills that both of them have. You don't have to wait until QB #1 gets knocked out to use the other one, particularly in passing situations. Duh? Isn't the goal to win?

How did Dormady do against Marble Falls last year? Was that a meaningful game? It's high school man it's completely meaningless now.

I know this much -- the defenders backed up last week when he came into the game instead of pressing at the line so they expected he might at least throw the ball more than 5 yards down field

Give him a series or two every game from here on out for experience since we are "waiting for next year" anyway

There are plenty of average passers that throw downfield. The playcalling and the OL won't even give him a chance. Other than two or three balls he looked fine today.

This offense is unfortunately rigidly designed around a dual threat QB. Dormady can't make the athletic plays Dobbs can.

The OL did nothing wrong. UF routinely sent all three LBs and their front four after Dobbs and the RBs. Dobbs never gave the LBs reason to worry about a passing game. The Corners stayed on the LoS all game long. OL actually opened a lot of initial holes for Dobbs and Hurd to run through.

Dobbs played well today. Putting up 27 on Floridas D on the road is very good production. The offense was good enough today. If the situation presents itself again to milk the clock or be aggressive going for the first down, there's no excuse not to take a risk. The defense has more than proven they cannot be relied upon to clinch the game.

Not when they are exhausted because your Big East head coach wants to "avoid mistakes and play field position."

It's not the defense's fault. We have a good defense.

Hurd busted his ass today. He ran his freaking butt off. I am proud that he is called a Tennessee Volunteer.

Yes!! There were a lot of great individual efforts today. Not down on the players just the coaches. The players deserve better.

We have a good defense when we don't play bowling green and it isn't the 4th quarter. Also, they were no more exhausted than FL's D considering Tenn won time of position, and ran as many if not more plays on O.
