The problem with Auburn's offense is that it relies a lot on misdirection and trying to trick opposing defenses as opposed to coming right at them. Gus doesn't do misdirection as a chance of pace or a wrinkle to keep defenses honest; it's an integral part of his offense. When an opposing offense figures it out, he really struggles to make adjustments to it.Both IMO. Auburn beat Washington and they have been really tough under CP. Problem is opposing teams that have seen film on Auburn have taken advantages of their weaknesses (O line in particular). Gus M. has done a horrible job of countering to the adjustments opposing teams have made.
