Prior to today, Florida played 2 good teams and were beat by double digits. The offense is terrible. BUT they found a way again to win what matters to reach Atlanta.

You know what many of us are mad sbout? The fact that we even had to rely on Florida losing to get to the SECCG. After the Alabama game, the Vols shoukd have cakewalked into Atlanta. I mean South Carolina, Tenn tech, UK, Mizzou and Vandy? But what happened? The team, and that includes Butch Jones, loses to a team that was starting a HS SR QB plaing his first SEC game. We shredded Florida this year. We should not have had to pin our SEC East hopes on the team we beat losing. Thats the whole point.

Next year we will be fine. Dormady at QB with Kelly, Fils-Aime, Chandler at RB, offensive line in good shape, DL will have McK, Tuttle, Vickers, Kongbo, Phillips, and Kirkland, McDowell, Sapp, Bituli and Berry at LB and everybody but Sutton back in DB. Good chance for anothebchampionship run.

Every one needs to quit being all butt hurt just because Tennessee isn't going to the championship. Yes, it's very upsetting I'll admit. But you have to look at everything that has happened this year, a bunch of injuries and a couple players transferred. I don't agree with everything Butch Jones does but I still want him as our coach. He's very conservative when he shouldn't be. You can't win top ten games by playing conservative. I believe Tennessee will bounce back big next year. I'm hoping for an improved OL and better secondary. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving! Go vols🍊

Muschamp said before the game that his plan was to make Josh Dobbs play quarterback, and it worked very well. It will be interesting next season to see what this staff can do with a legitimate sec caliber passer. Whether its Dormady or Guarantano it will be refreshing to see a qb that can consistently and accurately deliver the ball.

SECwest curse is the next we need to break: Ark, Ole Miss, Auburn, LSU and even MissSt would have played their lights out best game of the century if we would have played them instead of aTm. aTm played their best game of the year against us.

Next year we get LSU and at bamer, so it don't get no better.

Observation on both games today:

Fl/LSU, there was some serious voodoo going on today down in the bayou. LSU gave that game away. I guess coach O won't be the coach next year. Did you see that play calling at the end of that game? It was even worse than UT at times. Its almost like it was fixed because some one doesn't want coach O to get the job next year. LSU was bad. conspiracy.

Our game defense was terrible. Can you say swiss cheese. I know we are down DTs but really? I think we will be pretty good next year on offense, but our defense is terrible. I don't care how many players we are down. Will KMac and Tuttle be better next year or only serviceable. That is our glaring need for next year

Listen. This is a blessing. This team is not ready for even coming within 20 of Bama. Regroup and get em next year if we can.

So we win the east...and get another guaranteed loss. And not JUST a loss but 99% chance another embarrassing humiliation. No thanks.

Florida can enjoy this. We beat them...so they can eat it...but we don't need another beatdown by Bama this year. We're not ready for them again. Not this year.

Oh my; to go through life with such a pessimistic, cynical and combative way at looking at everything has got to be tiring. As an alum from the 80's I wonder what these threads would look like when I was there. Honestly, Majors would have been fired after my first year in 1981. We had a mediocre year and went to the "Garden State" bowl. Some of the sad individuals on this board would have had him drawn and quartered.
