So do we beat UGA or what?

Definitely yes . Total beat down. I let the players explain Saturday for you.

Well....Ga Tech did that and we won. Just sayin'.

Are we comparing GT and Georgia? You think their defenses are anything close to being comparable? If you think we will go out there and put 42 on Georgia, then I will just politely disagree with you.

Georgia is almost at same level as Alabama this year. I don't consider myself a NegaVol, but I see no way we can score more than 14-21 points, and with their running attack, we can't hold them to 21. I expect somewhere in the range of 24-10 UGA.

If Butch can somehow pull an Appy State on them and win this thing, I will consider jumping back on the bandwagon. Right now I think we end up 6-6 and needing some changes. Lord knows, I dread another coaching change and hope I am wrong.

More bashing the players, nice.

Im sorry that you think telling the truth is bashing the players. The team as a whole plays soft. Perhaps you can for am argument that could convince me, and seemingly almost everyone else that watches them play, that i am wrong?

They are better than us at RB and it isn’t even close. I’m talking because of depth. They have three NFL rbs. We have 1.

Yeah, depth wise i can see that. John Kelly has a very good argument that he is the best back in the sec. Our back ups seem to be good but lack the experience UGA has.

Not can we. Not should we. Do we? And explain why?

No. UGA's defense will severely slow down the UT rushing attack and the passing game doesnt have the muscle to carry the Vols in this one. I think Dormandy will be forced to move the ball through the air in obvious passing situations and will be forced into mistakes. The dawg D is really fast and talented. UF has a good D again, but I believe UGA's is much better this year. Gonna be hard to score points if they game plan to stop Kelly.

no. i think our oline to their front 7 is a mismatch. and i don't think we'll be efficient enough on 1st down to get our offense in any kind of rhythm as a result. they'll be able to shut down the run w/out much help....and we'll be predictable more than we want in our passing game.

conversely, we have issues at LB, and that's a bad match up for us against their run game....

in a game where both teams really want/need to establish a run game, GA's path to doing so is easier than ours.

I don't think so. Georgia has the talent and the coaching to win the East this year and for the next few years.

Tennessee always plays GA tough...and vice versa. Miss State whoops LSU and all of a sudden everyone thinks they are world beaters until they roll into Athens and lay an egg. My contention is that GA hasn't really played anybody yet (Irish included) so I am looking for the Vols to rise to the occasion and WHOOP DAT A$$. GO VOLS!!!! :dance2:

Not going to argue with you, because your opinion is your opinion, but how will you use that Georgia hasn't played anyone yet (ND and MSU) so they "will get that A$$ whoop", yet we haven't played anyone yet either, but looked like **** against those nobodies?
