was ones at Center today. He’s from Brentwood Academy and is 6-4 295. His offer list was modest. Preferred Walk-on? Late bloomer...Last resort.....coaches just kicking tires? He must have some ability if he’s taking snaps with the ones. Anyone have more info?

His dad had a great career with the dodgers And Perhaos the biggest forearms in the history of baseball

I know this, BA is no chump school to play football for so he is solid in his effort if not better than that. BA has put more than a few kids on the field at Neyland that were big time playmakers, so to see him getting attention surprises me not at all.

But. To answer the question, they are trying to build up some depth. He’s a natural C and there’s not anyone on the roster who’s done that for any significant amount of time.

I watched him play at BA with Johnson. He’s tough and lined up next to his bud. He wants to be here. I guarantee he can crack heads.

Locklear and Brooks are out with undisclosed injuries. Necessity dictates.

Same reason we saw Butler and Emerson moved to Oline. No freaking depth.

If he can play at this level that's nothing but a positive for the team. This Oline needs all the help it can get.

Per D4H, Garvey is a highly underrated talent who will be the first center to win the Heisman and go on to 14 pro bowl seasons and lead the Titans to 3 Super Bowls.
