So Bray is not meeting with the media tonight

Someone else who is satisfied with our QB I guess. Sure he didn't single-handedly lose the game tonight but he certainly didn't help much either... even a backup center from Bearden can see that lol!

He plays hard. He's an average qb. We are the ones who blew him up to be something he's not. but our fans throwin jabs at him among others and singling out players is just stupid.

Here is a news flash as well. Just bc you're on scholly does not make you a scape goat for every pissed off ut fan. Bray is a decent qb. He plays hard.

Not blaming Bray for everything, I said he did not play defense and that was a huge problem. If you think Bray is Mr. Care and is Mr. Try you are delusional. Bray does not have the leadership qualities needed for an SEC QB. Saban would never even recruit him. He has to be one of the bigger bust this year. I can think of about 8 QB's in the SEC that are better and he was suppose to be top three at the least.

You are kidding me, right?!? I have plenty to be proud of in my life, and not an once of it has to do with what UT or some other athletic team that I have zero to do with other than cheering them on. What the hell is upward sports. Hell, you know jack about me. Take your sorry ass somewhere else!

You mad bro?

So just bc saban didn't want him and he's not a great leader means he doesn't care and try hard. That makes a lot of since. I'm not saying he's good or bad or whatever. I'm saying fans on her act like he is losing on purpose and could care less, and that is just stupid

I will go one further, he would not have played for Fulmer, because Fulmer did have leaders at QB, till his last year. I am telling you Bray is an issue on this time and you watch how things unfold this year. Think back to the UK game.

I didn't say he was losing on purpose but I do expect our starting QB, TYLER BRAY to put his big boy britches on and face the media after the game with his other teammates. Show some leadership and take responsibility. Facing adversity and dealing with uncomfortable situations is part of playing SEC ball and maturing.

Rick Clausen was a great leader, he did not have talent. Brent Schafer left the team, because he did not have the leadership skill set.

Bray has a great arm. But he's a QB in the SEC and he doesn't like to get hit. He's midway through his jr year-- his third year as a starter-- and he gets rattled when big guys come at him. That's a little problematic in the SEC.

You're damn right I am. Getting bashed for standing up for players. It was uncalled for.

you just misunderstand the general feeling of most people on this site, whether or not they actually post or have an account. Our frustration appears to come out on the players but thats not how it is. hell alot of those playing now are younger than me.

But at some point enough is enough. This isnt a casual passtime of mine. I actually care alot. And ive liked dooley for his entire tenure. But W's are W's and L's are L's. When is the right time to swap things up?

Once again, coaches are paid and this is their living. They should always be fair game, but UT fans hating so much on our own players is an awful sight. Some of you act like they dont want to win. There is a lot of blood sweat and tears left from that team win or lose. If you can only root for a winner now go buy a f ing bama tag.

We need a QB who can do something more than throw 20-yard passes. Give me some running ability, some passion, some toughness; somebody who can make things happen and fire up the team.

What happened to the kid in tears after throwing the game costing pick against UNC? Is he just getting used to losing games?

I'm right there with you. Doors lost my support tonight, but I refuse to bash the players or to even try to pretend to define how they should react to these tough circumstances. Still, what is Upward?

hey Bray you better have one hell of a game next week cause if you dont you better be benched the rest of the season!! Peterman or Worley are better options at this point....

What is upward? Maybe a win against an SEC team other than vandy or ky. . maybe a win against a ranked team. . This whole season ive said "we have the talent, its just bad luck" but now im done. we constantly throw games away. We should have dominated MSU and instead we walk away lookin like a group of *****es. No one cares how close you were or how good you looked. Hell most people dont even watch. As Im typing this i hear sportscenter say "Alabama went into knoxville and CRUSHED tennessee." I SAY ***CK THIS.

No, you are missing my point. Some yeahoo said I must have played Upward sports or something growing up in response to my original post in this thread. I'm assuming his is some you get a pat on the back and a bunch of orange slices just or showing up type organization. Being as this is contrary to my entire upbringing, it ticked me off. That being said, I'll agreebthatball of those things would bring it upward and are desperately needed.

How dare you bash Rick Clausen, he didn't have bray's physical talent but he worked his ass off to get in the game and give his all . Bray would have benefited from sitting on the bench and earning his opportunity like Rick did. I don't remember Clausen throwing the ball directly at the other teams linebackers when there was not a Tennessee player within 8 yards of him. I don't think Bray should see the field the rest of the season, maybe that will give him sometime to get his head straight and become the qb he should be.
