I know reports suggested that he withdrew his name in anticipation of a promotion in Detroit.

The promotion hasn't happened yet. Anyone have any insight on the OC situation in Detroit? Are they looking at other candidates? I don't understand the delay in promoting Kippy if he's the guy they want.

Isn't it also possible that he might be getting a call from Miami?

Chris Mortensen said yesterday that they were essentially going to fire Mike Martz and Kippy Brown is going to be the guy. Hopefully that isn't true.

Well, I don't think they've pulled the trigger on Martz yet - tho' it seems as if it's just a matter of time...
