officials bailed Green out all day and called a completely stupid looking game and you still got sent packing. We'll see you guys for football season.

just wanted to congratulate you guys on the win, good luck rest of the tournament. A very good game. I think that if a number 7 and a 2 go to overtime in a first round game then clearly the committee screwed up. Either way best of luck to you guys

I don't think anyone made it racial, but I am certain everyone is offering up a message that you don't like. It might somehow make you feel better about yourself to call us rednecks, but you're not better for it and the result of the game will not change. The fact that your drivel from yesterday is now exactly wrong isn't going to change either.

I suspect that there are several rednecks around this board, but that's not really the problem is it? The real problem is that your herd of Bulldogs got all of the officiating help imaginable and still have to clean out their lockers. We have many posters floating around this board who would run well out of their way to quiet those being rednecks. In fact, I would guess that the vast majority here are pretty intolerant of the redneck message when it rears its head. I can promise you that the mods and administrators on this site are quick to ban anyone spewing bigotry, bar none. In fact, I can pick about 1,000 posters on this board who are more worldly and better educated than you are and all are from Hickville TN.

Finally, my parents are from redneck Hickville, TN type spots and I suspect my father would break a couple of your teeth for even hinting at him being a redneck. He's gone way out of his way to make sure that I have no redneck bones in me and to make sure I'm as worldly as I can realistically be. I'd suggest that he succeeded in that endeavor relative your parents.

By the way, the biggest redneck I've ever met in my life was from Terre Haute. Right behind him was a "gentleman" from Estherville, Iowa.

So are you justifying someone joking about Butler being "the Great White Hype?"?

I just wonder how it would be received if someone referred to Tennessee as something that pointed out your predominantly black roster?

Great stuff coming from below the Mason-Dixon line...

again, make yourself feel better however you choose, but I feel compelled to remind you that this all started over a basketball game. It happened to be a game that you were supremely confident about Butler winning. Butler did not, in fact, win the game. TN, whose board you are slobbering on, did win the game. It was after the win that you chose to change your tack from throwing stones to just being pathetic.

We understand that you need something about which you can feel superior. Congratulations, you have created a lie that makes you feel good. Did you really need to come here for such a rationalization?

Actually... since you are trying to be technical... you are WRONG.

"Mason Dixon" (GEOGRAPHICAL)= 39° 43′ 19.92216″ N

Sorry, but Indianapolis is North of this...

And since we are really talking about the cultural line - with that brilliant University of Tennessee education, you should know that Indiana was always considered a North state.
