you absurdly used your resume' to support yor conclusion, but an objective review of our two resume's would suggest that you lose by about 15.

I can appreciate that you belive your crew will win, but you'll need something besides a decent NAIA resume' if you want anybody to take you seriously.

Nobody on this board is underrating Butler in any way. They're a dangerous team, and certainly underseeded as a 7. If UT plays well, we win - if we play poorly, we lose. Simple as that.

That being said: we have better athleticism and more depth. So we SHOULD win the game. There's a reason why UT's a 2 and Butler's a 7.

I love enlightening all of the "athlete" fans like yourselves.

It's funny how you just assume that the end-all in college basketball is a schedule made up of land grant, BCS program's... you obviously don't know much about Butler.

I know something about Butler, you lost to bad Wright State team with a mediocre record, along with Cleveland State and Drake. I just want you to know Bulldog, that if you lose, I don't want to see you hiding and not visiting this board to take it like a man.

Yes, the selection committee is enamored with placing BCS programs at the top, and snubbing non-BCS programs. Butler is hardly a 7 seed...

You are blind to it, because you benefit from the the flawed system, so I don't expect you to understand.

You get so caught up in the Media's attempt to please the masses (who do you think drives ratings to their shows, websites, etc.; the Butler's of the world with 4,000 students, or the 40,000 student BCS programs?), that you listen to their garbage and take it as the truth.

You guys have a very good team, but your disrespect reeks of the arrogance and bias that helps prop you up, and keep programs like ours down.

I guess we just have do let our winning in the tournament do the talking.

UT is dumb. Their fans are dumb. Bruce Pearl is greasy and dumb.

That's the kind of garbage I read over at buhoops. Vol fans were talking about the tough matchup with you guys as soon as the brackets were announced. Read through some of the thread titles and you'll see that you haven't been disrespected in any way. There are four or five threads mentioning that we'd rather play S. Alabama. You seem a little paranoid that everyone is out to get you or isn't giving you your due respect just because you aren't from a big school.

As for us being propped up, we need none of that.

congrats, you guys just beat South freakin' Alabama. OBTW, they lost TWICE to the worst team in Tennessee.

You started your drivel by harding up your grbage resume'. We simply expounded upon how pathetic it is and asked you to provede better support for your pleas for acceptance.

Then you launched into your even more pathetic trash about the media conspiracy. Beat a team worth discussing (and that is not the 18 months ago Vols) and the media and basketball fans will care. Otherwise, you might as well have won the DII championship.

No problem. However, I won't go so far as to say that I expect you to give Butler props if we win... I'm sure it will be because you had a bad game or something... It always is.

Sorry if I get fired up over here, however the same things are said every time we play a team like you have. Butler never gets respect, and its always about the conference we are in, or all the things that are out of our control. If you haven't figured it out - the conference does not make the team, and neither do their opponents. All we can do is take care of business on the court, and in the NCAA tournament. Again, to you - the Vols are all that matters, and the media and your community feeds on that - so I don't expect you to understand.

After watching you guys in the Tournament last year, and after watching you dismantle USA today, you have my attention and respect.

Butler is a good team. UT, when they play to their potential, is substantially better.

If Butler hadn't lost to the ONLY tournament team they played (Drake) at HOME, they might have had a decent seed.

We won't understand because it's complete garbage. Also, here's a little dose of reality. Thinking UT is going to win is not disrespecting your program. Go find the post that says, "Butler will lose by 20." Or a post that says "Our walk-ons will embarrass Butler's starters."

Are you saying the only reason UT got a 2 seed is because they're in the SEC? Surely you're smarter than that and can realize it was earned. They played anyone and beat most of them (which also gave them the top SOS and put them in the top of the RPI).

Please quit playing the poor, under appreciated mid-major card. It gets really old

Look man, I've already gone over the Clairvoyance 101 concept. You've already stated you can't wait til Sunday to come back and gloat. We'll be here waiting. Besides, people in Tennessee understand the "conference does not make the team" concept. Memphis is in CUSA and is a #1 seed so don't give us all that small conference whining.
