Attendance is mandatory in all my classes, which is ridiculous. I'm paying for this service. If I want to slack off, I should have that right.

Part of the college spirit is bucking the system. Take a chance.

Just make sure you don't "take a chance with the unforgiven professor". You know, the kind that turns a simple(easy credit) class into a headache class.

It kills me here in Indiana. People act like they have never seen snow before. We barely got a dusting last nite and in about a 4 hour stretch I worked 11 wrecks. I don't know about Tennessee but around here just the word snow in the forcast causes wrecks.

Not to ruin the snow fun for you all, but its insane how differently snow is viewed around the country.

Here in Flagstaff, we got 4 inches in about 2 hours, and everybody was like "This sucks, we need more." And I'm slipping on my arse, freezing.

You all get an inch, and a poster asks if the University will be closed.

Snow is essential here, though.

Schools here close before the snow comes.

No kidding... like Jason said, they'll close schools here if snow is in the forecast. An inch or two is good for 2 our 3 days out of school. Back in 2003 during that snowstorm that 'Zona referenced on the main board, we were out of school for a week and a half.
