Hell to the YES! Halloween night wearing black jerseys when we kicked Spurrier's Gamecock butts. Loved it!!

I liked that too. Didn't try and make black an official color.

This is from a 1969 football program. Note: No mention of Gray

When they came out in black getting ready to run through the T that was one of the loudest moments I’ve heard at Neyland. That night was awesome

UT's orange jerseys are like no other in college football. A signature, a brand. They have been worn all through the Neyland era up to Jones. Why would you mess with that?
When in grey, you can't tell us from Eastern Southwestern state U.
My Dad was at UT in the 30s, my mom in the 40s, me in the 70s and Grey wasn't even a school color. Why let Butch Jones change that? Here's an old picture. No mistake its TENNESSEE.

The Pantone Matching System is the industry standard from which all sports teams get their colors. For example, Tennessee Orange is PMS 151. Georgia Red is PMS 200, and nothing else. Alabama's crimson is PMS 201. Click link below to read all about it.

Burn those ugly a$$ grey uniforms. Those color codes are recent inventions forced on the vol nation. Never have been our traditional, long standing colors. ----ugly as hhhh.

if the basketball team still wears them this season, then they will probably keep them for a game next season

I would like some different alternates. Like maybe orange with grey accents and numbers.... and matte orange helmets. No power T.. Just solid matte orange with a grey facemask.
