I've already shared my can't-miss solution. It's easy peasy.

Offer Jim Harbaugh $1 billion. Done and done.

i dont see why everyone is infatuated with Jon Gruden he won a super bowl with Tony Dungys team, look how the Bucs where after he put together his team. He is kind of like Barry Switzer won with Jimmy Johnsons team and then wrecked the Cowboys

What team did Tampa Bay play in the Super Bowl?
Oakland? Who built that team in Oakland before he left to go to Tampa? Gruden built that team. Charlie Garner, Rich Gannon, Jerry Rice, etc. etc.
Gruden can assemble a team!!!!!

I will say this...if Dooley gets fired we need to get SOME coach with some type of STRONG sense of X's & O's for this team! This is something Dooley is clueless at IMO.

We have already tried that and no one wanted to come here. Butch Davis, Lovie Smith, Jon Gruden, Gary Patterson, Will Muschamp, Air Force coach, Chris Peterson, Bill Cowher, Brian Kelly,
Dooley was our tenth choice. Our tenth choice.....
When Dooley gets fired, then who will replace him? Another un proven coach?
Hopefully, Hart will already have a replacement ready even before Dooley is fired. We don't need to wait until after the bowl games to interview and hire a new coach. Waiting until after the bowl seaon to hire a coach will leave our recruiting class in limbo from late November until early January. We would lose too many recruits, in process.
In our hearts, we all knew that Pearl was going to be fired, seven or eight months prior to him being fired. We
knew it, but didn't want to admit it.
The same is true with Dooley. In our hearts, we know that losing the Ky game put nails on the coffin. The coffin is NOT nailed completely shut but after the first 5 games of next season, I suspect that it will have a few more nails in it.
Dooley can only win games that we are favored to win and we aren't going to be favored to win 8 games next season!!!!

We need to hire an experienced coach next time. Surely we have learned that lesson by now. Nothing against Smart-- he most likely would have been a better choice than Dooley-- but we need to bypass "potential" and pay what it takes to hire someone who has earned his chops.

And, yes, lots of coaches would come here. For $1.8 mil, two weeks before NSD-- no. For $3 mil+ at a time that is not two weeks before NSD-- absolutely.

I support dooley an think that even if he does not succeed he will put us in a better place than we were when we hired him. Add that to the fact that the new coach wouldn't have to work for Hamilton and it should put us in a good spot for a coach. I don't care what happened with the last coach I would take Pete Carroll in a heartbeat, I would just add some more compliance officers to the payroll

I'd like to see us get high school coach Eric Taylor out of Dillon, Texas. He took the Panthers to a state championship win with a backup QB after their starter was paralyzed in the season opener.

Eric Taylor will never leave Dillon, TX...
