John Prine on stage at the old Alumni Gym was the last time I saw the lighters come out, I think.

You should put together a best of sly playlist. I would say mix tape but that's ol Skool.

That was my problem when you put music on CD's. I couldn't fit my favorites on 20 of them probably. Gotta add Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks, too.

I appreciate Sly. He's a good poster, one kewl dude, and also has great taste in music.

As far as likes go, these songs come to mind iirc...

Puff the Magic Dragon
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

Used to be a Chicago cover band that played around Orlando in the 70's that had them down pretty good. Brass is always nice.

Sly, my dog is much smaller than me, so it's easy to bully her. What do you think of that!?

I lived in Connecticut in the early to mid 70's. A dance club called the Shaboo Inn opened down the road in Mansfield. This is close to Storrs and UCONN, so always a good crowd. Don't remember who the owner was or what connections he had, but he would book acts that were between shows going from New York to Boston. The house band was Dirty Tricks and they did some awesome covers of the day. Particularly, The Rolling Stones. Anyway, a lot of acts came through this place. Rick Derringer, Elvin Bishop, Arlo Guthrie, James Cotton, Papa John Creach, Tower of Power, Lou Reed, Edgar and Johnny Winters..not together, and I don't know how many more that I can't remember.
