Yes, there are other running back coaches. But of all the coaches on staff, the one I most want to retain is Gillespie (with respect to secondary coach Warren, who I also might retain).

I hope this doesn't take too much longer so we can keep him around to keep developing the stable of young backs we have.

This program is so broken right that neither Gillespie or this recruiting class is worth a thought. Until we get the athletic department leadership worked out and find the right head coach, it just doesn't matter. Same for any kids on the roster. Don't care who comes or who goes. Right now it's like worrying about the tires on a car that's burned out the engine. Meaningless.

I have been wondering about others contacting our coaches. I've not heard any rumors.

kinda surprised they (Asst coaches)haven't left already. Tells you something about the perception of them in the marketplace.

I think the hires that have been made are guys who will take a handful of their previous staff then slow play their hiring to hand pick guys they want.

They season for change is rapidly coming as the season is over for many teams and in 4 weeks will be over for all.

I'd like to keep Gillespie, but I'd not rush to hire a head man just to save one RB coach. No rush to save this early signing period either. One class should not define a program.

I hope Warren hits the road.

I like Gillespie and would hate to lose him, but would love to see Jay Graham come back home. I doubt he will be retained at FSU

I don’t think anyone wants them save one or two. It would be wise to keep a couple regardless who is hired to bridge the recruiting class and relationships.

Any coach that is retained should be retained by the next head coach. It would be unfair to do otherwise.

The BSIA seems to be remaining in place. Now THAT is scary!

I would assume they are still under contract. Probably have to wait until they are released so they can collect the buyout money money without new schoool having to pay a buyout.

But more i think about it, we would probably waive it.

Gillespie good for sure but forgot about FSU graham situation...along with steel if Gus goes to ark.

thats why I think Fulmer will have someone by Monday if he gets the right fit of coach and assistants

Disagree. The running backs are easily the strongest part of the offense right now. Whoever takes over is going to have to mainly utilize the running game until things start gelling. That group can't develop rust in the off-season... on a side note, this means go do whatever you have to do to lure mays back. If les is hired, i hope he wears 4 rings to the mays' residence. Sugar, both sec's, and the natty.

there's always someone better I guess, but if I had to pick one to stay it would be Coach G...recruits pretty good too...but, of course that's for the next coach to decide...:)

GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No big deal.
We can do better than Gillespie.

I don't know if we can or not, but I don't think it hurts to clean out anybody and everybody associated with the Butch Jones culture. The new coach's first order of business is to rebuild the locker room, and I think it is easier to do that if none of the prior regime is around.
