Well I played ok but I always know I could've done better. Today I hit 2 good drives. That's it. On this course you could play without a driver though.

That's what hurt me today and threw my game off. Irons and wedges and putting was fine.

Me and some of my buds are heading up to Fall Creek Falls to play a round this weekend. And to eat the all you can eat seafood buffet!

We camp there once a year and play 2 rounds that weekend. Once of individual and once of some team variety. Whether best ball, or throw out worst score off your team or one which is pretty neat where you are still individually or a team depends. I had never heard of it but liked this game a friend introduced it and he plays twice a week. On the drive everyone gets a chance to pick a partner for that hole judging by their drive, but you must pick them before next person tees off or if you don't take anyone you can go alone. If you or your buddy win the hole you get a point, but if you lose then the other team gets the point, yet still if you say you are going alone and win against the others you get 2 points, however if one of them beats you the others all get 2 points. I thought it was kind of a neat way to keep crummy golfers like me competitive with strategy but yet can keep our own score unlike bestball at same time. But back to Fall Creek Falls deer and turkey everywhere. One year on one of the holes a deer was chilling under the bench and we were at tee box like 10 feet from it and it never moved, it just kept watching us lol. BTW all you can eat seafood??? Is that at a local restaurant in the INN by the bike trail around the lake or some kind of gathering in the Park? Or you gonna catch them yourselves? I havent heard of this buffet but as I mentioned we camp there so cook ourselves but I might be open to trying this buffet. lol

We have had to wait to tee off sometimes because there have been deer either in the fairway or on the greens of par 3's lol. The game you mentioned sounds fun may have to try it.

But if im not mistaken its the only restaurant up there and its beside the hotel on the lake . On fridays they have all you can eat sea food and crab legs! Either way its worth checking out. I have fished up there and caught bream and a few small bass but nothing worth cleaning and eating. If im not mistaken the state record blue gill was caught up there...

Wow good info. One guy who usually camps but doesnt golf fishes every day for his food. You ever do the cable hike at Caney Creek there or the long hike to Fall Creek Falls? Some people jumped from the below the Cascades down over Caney Creek and swam back to go up cable hike. It was crazy.

Yeah i've been on alot of the hikes but you can forget me jumping off anything. I am very vertically challenged. Heights dont bother me its just that sudden stop at the end i have grief with...

Im not much of a bank fisherman i like my 1990 model ranger with a 150 on it its old but all i can offord at the present. They dont allow motor boats if im not mistaken...
