While I do think we could possibly lose this game, I will not get negative about it.

I don't consider myself to be negative, however, I am very disappointed with alot of things, namely our coaches. I think we will play a much better game than most people will think, or expect; the reason I feel this way is really simple...our players have alot of heart and pride, and it's Florida, so heres to us getting our ****
together and playing solid football and beating the Gators. Go Vols!

I'm so sick of all of the UT fans giving us no chance to win. I'm as disappointed with the results so far as anybody. However, you guys are giving UF way too much credit. Anybody remember the UF team of last year that lost 4 games? They aren't much different than that team! UT has looked bad at times this year but our strengths match up very well against UF's weaknesses. This game will be close and if Crompton can avoid too many mistakes then we can win. Our D line is improved from last year and our secondary is one of the best in the nation. If our coaches actually have some balls in the playcalling then we should be able to load up against the run and try to make Teblow beat us passing(which I'm not sure he can do). If we run the ball like we can and control both lines then we can grind this game out. All of these "fans" who are already conceding a brutal loss is really starting to make me sick. Call me a homer or a orange kool-aid drinker but I see us as having more than just a good chance if we play up to our strengths. UT 23, UF 17.

A couple of problems with your post i'd like to point out. Forget the fact that as it was, Uf won the game last year by 39.

Florida has improved their offense overall from last year and their defense is considerably better than it was a year ago as well. Realistically, if Florida plays an average game Tennessee has no chance, even if they played their best. You can't really use the UCLA blowout by BYU argument too much, but it's still there and you can't completely play it off.

UCLA got smashed in the face 59-0 by BYU...UCLA beat us...Florida will kick our butts yet again...we are so mediocre it makes me sick...we will be lucky to win 6 games and even make it to a bowl...where the "H" is the new "offense." It looks the same to me!!! Defense sucks, Offense is a joke...oh yeah, I guess Fulmer has been fooling everybody the 1st 2 games, and he and Clawson are going to open it up in Sat...yeah right, if you believe that, I've got some land for sale...I'm so sick of this...will get them next year crap!! We suck!

don't be so negative, I think we are going to be okay, the UCLA game had everyone worried I was a little worried myself but if we continue to run the ball,pass better,defense step it up a little we can be a top 25 team for sure :good!:

Everyone is living in la la land. What would make anyone think we would beat Fla. I mean even when we come into the game better than them we usually lose. Look at CPF record against Fla, does anyone HONESTLY say with confidence we are going to win? I for one will not get my hopes up anymore, I am not going to smack talk the gators b/c for the last decade or two they have been better, coaching, execution, getting the breaks, everything in general.

I'm not just baggin' on your post Chief, but C'MON... I know, if you, and some of the other posters on this board are so conviced that we'll lose.... then I say you have no right to watch the game, no right to go to Neyland stadium, you must turn in all your Vol merchandise, and become a fan of a different team.

Aslo, anybody who calls him/herself a fan and says that if we lose they hope it's a another Florida blowout doesn't deserve to call themselves a fan. That's the most illogical thing I've read yet. Some people have pride and some don't. Our coaching aside, some of you should look at yourselves before pointing the finger...
