If I told you that our next coach "kinda" won at a mid major, had allege incidents with players, bullied staff, and even had an alleged keeping qyiet in a rape case (think Drae Bowles), you would swear we were unfiring Butch Jones.

Why the media doesn't understand this baffles me.

Doesn’t fit their narrative now. This will be ignored.

To be fair, Slate only fits our narrative when talking about Schiano. They make WaPo look like Breitbart. Why trust them now? Genuinely curious.

Are you presuming everyone on this board shares your political ideology? I can tell you that is not the case.

There's a reason why this autocratic $OB has not had a head coaching job in coaching since the Tampa Bay days and the only fools dumb enough to offer him such a job were John Currie and Jimmy Haslam. Now the other side of this story is coming out.

Is anyone else worried about Currie being the AD. If this is his best choice. I thought he was suppose to console with Fulmer and others, on this coaching search.

Obviously that was the public version to sell the peons. Currie had other plans and he didn't want them interrupted by voices of reason. I can't see anyone of sound mind or coaching wisdom approving Currie's plan. We're just lucky somebody discovered the plan and leaked it in time.

Not at all. I’m genuinely curious about this. I’m a lefty who lives in red state stronghold.

Because, in this instance, they're right?

There was no fake news prior to 2016.
Well. Yes there was and still is on Fox News. Otherwise, I'm in agreement with you and a handful of others on here. I don't understand the mindset with 'em. Cruel-hearted bunch, they are. It seems most of their heroes are narcissists and misogynists.

I feel your pain :lolabove:

I don't read Slate, but the guy who wrote seems to be some kind of guest contributor, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and I'm glad it was published on a platform that has lots of readers, at least.
