I'm on record as saying that i'm not the worlds biggest LeBron fan, I think he will be one of the all-time greats. I've also said Jordan is head and shoulders above anybody else.

But the hate that Skip has for LeBron is comical. When he gets owned with stats, he dismisses them. I hope LeBron goes off tonight and carries Wade tonight just so Skip will shut up.

That show went downhill quick after Woody wasn't there to keep Skip in line. I used to watch it almost daily. I' rarely watch ESPN unless there is a game on. I'm a Dan Patrick kinda guy now. Its so much more informative and way less annoying.

Skip Bayless is just like Clay Travis, he's doing exactly what he's supposed to, piss you off.

I just don't understand why a tv or radio personality deliberately tries to be an annoying a-hole. I guess there's a market for it. There are to many media outlets now days to listen or watch this kind of crap, but apparently people do. I think ESPN caters to the nerdy guy trying to fit in at the water cooler way too much.

why do some of you watch/listen to guys who piss you off like Clay Travis, Bayless ? Furthermore you then go to the there websites and tweet them. All you are doing is getting them paid.
Do yourself a favor and dont listen to them. Only time I hear Bayless is when the TV at Y has him on in the waiting room, and i quit listening to 1045 the zone

Why? Because of threads like this, because people tune in just to be pissed off by him.

Lol. Apparently Lebron only deserved 30% of the credit for that win Tuesday night. I mean he was only 1 rebound shy of a triple double, no big deal.

First take is about as real as wwe. Every opinion on it is completely prescripted.

It's shock jock for sports. You have to realize that when you watch it, especially Skip. Skip is a character.

It's not fair (or accurate) for me to say I despise him as a person. He clearly does a lot of charitable work and does seem to be a pretty good guy, and deserves praise for those things. What I do despise is the way he chose to create a superteam in order to chase a title, and I truly feel that the NBA is going to be a FAR worse league in a few years because of it. If and when the All-Star Heat win a title, I imagine we'll start seeing other superstars collude to form other superteams in the big markets in order to also have a shot to compete for titles. The smaller market teams will essentially just become minor league squads for the elite players to cut their teeth in as they wait for their first contract to run out and then join one of the super teams in LA, NY, Miami or Chicago. Personally I think the league is a better place when the superstars are spread out somewhat evenly amongst several teams as opposed to all grouped together on 4-5 teams.

I realize that the Heat aren't the first team who have ever had multiple great players in one city, but it is the first time we've seen 3 guys colluding in full view of the public to join forces in free agency. If the Heat prove that a team with 3 superstars surrounded by essentially scrubs is a winning formula, sadly, I'm afraid this sort of team will become commonplace rather than a one time experiment.

Id love that, but I would be distraught if I didnt get to watch the likes of the Bobcats vs Wizards game from time to time!

Why would that be a good thing? Do you not think that having the top 15 players in the league dispersed amongst 15 different teams creates a more competitive and exciting league than having the same 15 guys grouped in pods of three on 5 different big market superteams?

No, id rather watch great games than mediocre games, id rather watch Boston vs OKC or Spurs vs Heat or Lakers vs Knicks than the Atlanta vs Indiana or New Orleans vs Cleveland any day
