Should be vastly improved from this year..IMO Worely will be at best 3rd string...Dobs or Fergusn will be the starter(thank god) our WRs will be experienced and have plenty of talent..i expect North, Pig and Smith to all be putting up big numbers....and our RBs will be led by Jalen Hurd and Lane...no more east/west Neal who also tends to fumble....skill positions will be way improved both in experience and talent....

If Neal is so east - west, Lane has not won the starting job yet... wonder why...

I love (or is it loathe?) the way so-called vol fans are eager to give up on a season before it's even half over. The time to look to next year is next year. Trying to guess what may happen requires a crystal ball that I don't have.

Classic VN - in the offseason, predict 9-3 even though we are vastly outmaned in at least 7 games on our schedule, then 2 losses into the season, blame the coaches, throw up your hands, and start making threads about basketball season and next year. Repeat cycle on a yearly basis.

The best is when it's done with almost ineligible grammar and spelling.

Paints UT fans in a sterling light.

I think Neal is fast and powerful. Lane runs more shifty and quick cuts. I like them both. If only we had a quarterback to make some throws or receivers to catch the ball when the quarterback does make an accurate throw.

So our qb has no or little experience, our starting running back is a freshman, and our receivers who you expect to put up big numbers have really put up no numbers thus far, even against inferior competition.

Right.

Ok.

With so many dam three-and-outs it is hard to put up numbers. Jalen Hurd is a beast. Also, between Dobbs and Ferguson both have better skill sets than Worley --or so I hope.

BTW, whatever happened to Drae Bowles?

Don't forget #1 and #3 juco WRs in Lauderdale and Jackson. Our receivers will be loaded.

Assuming Dobbs and Fergy will be better than Worley and (thank God) will be pretty decent is ridiculous since neither one has even snapped the ball (if I'm correct). That makes me want to stop reading there.

Assuming the WRs will put up big numbers means the QB play will be really good. Read the 1st paragraph again.

I guess the coaches are too dumb to recognize how much better Lane is than Neal. :/

Your expectations are a "best case scenario". I really like it, and am excited at the possibilities even with the OL gone, but I can't agree with you on this :/
