Your point seems to be (now) that if we look at how horrible of job they were doing before him, that makes his results better.

If he's not selling A&M right now, he's definitely not selling UT.

Did you not compare Sumlins results to the poor classes before him in the post I quoted? Or did I totally misread that?

I do have a question or 2 tho.

If Sumlin is that inferior to Jones as recruiter (which is tied to the product and not just the pitch) why is there not more of a gap in the numbers between the 2?
Taken into consideration that Sumlin just signed the #10 class and Jones had the #15 this year. Wouldn't the gap be getting bigger the longer this drags out? Sumlin has proven to be mediocre since his best season in 2012, whats he selling?

Reverse it.
Why wasn't he ahead the whole time.
This year would be the outlier out of the 4.
You take the norm not the outlier to make the judgment.
Absolutely no way you're convincing me that I should use the outlier.

I guess if I say that I've already given my answer for the 50th time, this still isn't going to stop?
Just pretend I agree with you that he would have been more successful here. I really want to catch up on some other stuff.

That's on me, I just always respond if asked.

But even for the offseason, we just absolutely wasted minutes we can't get back... on hypothetical Sumlin scenerios.
I'm not sure it can go down from there. Ok, I've seen worse.

Again, unless your in that inner circle of boosters you're not going to get their true motives or feelings. Not trying to be a d!ck but I highly doubt you're on that list. Also there is a lot of in fighting amongst the boosters and one subject being Butch but the main subject is the AD right now.
