It is very clear from his list that he is an idiot. The only way he would have given TN an A is if we hired Lovie Smith or Kirby Smart.

Lovie would be a great hire, but Turner Gil, Charlie Strong etc are not home run hires in a way that makes them clearly better than Dooley.

And Lane Kiffin as a D? Lane Kiffin to USC with his dad coaching that kind of defensive talent? As much as I think the guy is a snake, the NCAA is not taking them down it appears and he is a home run hire for Garret.

I did the same thing, I was about to read the article until I saw that. I am sure that Charlie Weis was a great hire a couple of years ago.

I can understand dooley as a C just based off the situation, the scenario, and the results of the search that eventually led to him being hired
