Does anyone know if they are allowing us to transfer the SEC games from XM to Sirius on the "Best of XM offer"? I have searched the site but have not found anything specific.

I'm not sure. I've got XM and I really haven't looked at what the merger means yet from a programming standpoint.

I'm not sure, but you can keep your present XM package under the merger (which is what I have planned).

Unless NASCAR is your thing, I'd say the XM sports is definitely better.

umm...Sirius has the NFL and NBA too.
I know. But I'm almost always in a position to watch the NFL and NBA when I want to. I get more out of the MLB access along with the SEC/Big10/Pac10, PGA etc.

Yes, I have heard from XM that you will have the option to keep your current package. Don't know if there will be new packages.

i dont konw about the "best of xm" offer specifically, but from what i read people who already own xm or sirius radios before the combining happens can either pay more to have access to the other's channels also or just keep paying the same for your current xm/sirius channels

The only item they (Sirius) seem to be vague about is the SEC on the "Best of XM". I am just going to call them today. If it is worth reporting I will pass it along. Thanks for the help.

After speaking with Sirius it seems that all of the conferences that XM has a contract with will be offered on Sirius radio EXCEPT the SEC. Paying the extra $17/month for the "Best of XM" will still not allow you to hear those games.
