Does anyone know when single game tickets go on sale for the 2016 season? Also, does anyone have any recommended methods for obtaining tickets? I am hoping to be able to get 3 tickets to the Florida game in September.

The Florida game is one where you'll either have to buy Season Tickets, or use Stubhub. No way they'll have extras for that one.

Call the ticket office in July, you can probably get single's as in you won't be sitting together

I predict a sellout of season tickets in record time this summer. With an improved team + UF & UA home games, fans will flock to get seats. I remember when there was a wait list for season tickets, will that day return? Remember when Nashville fans bought Vandy season tickets just to get the UT game? Good days for sure.

Yes I do, that's why when season tickets became available, even though the product on the field was less than stellar,I got mine, then this year upgraded. There were very few opportunities to get them for many years, you knew the dark ages weren't going to last too long, so I had to get em while I could. I'm trying to buy 2 more season tickets in a section close to me for my son and whoever he takes or my wife and maybe someone she may want to bring, the pickings are slim right now, so it may be getting close to full... I know it may change after March 31 though

Looking on uttix.com there aren't many seats left for season tickets

I hope so. I'm looking for 3 together some where

I just happened to be looking and there's 3 together in section A and section F for $500/ea donation. Not too bad for lower level sideline seats since all lower level corner/endzone seats also require a $500 donation.

single game tickets sold through UT begin toward end of July. Likely will not have any for Florida or Alabama games. they never even offer those to season ticket holders as options to get extras for those games.

Early season games will not be cheap..

I know we are on a comet with the hype train. For the record, I got 2 tickets to Florida 2 years ago and Arkansas this year a few weeks before the game. I sat with my back to the screen in the upper level though uttix. Just FYI

You know capacity is only 102,455. Standing is also not an option since they have to get through the gate first.

I was at the Florida game in 2012 and the announced at over 105,000. Believe it or not the capacity doesn't mean jack sometimes.

You are correct. I want to say it is usually mid July. And it will not be cheap to go to a game this year. Most of the good hotels are already booked too.

The hotel we stay at is requiring 2 night stay for the big SEC games this year.

Thanks everyone. I'm in Little Rock and one of my closest friends from law school is a BAMA grad. A decade ago when we were both roaming the wilderness we agreed that we'd come to Neyland when we were both "back." The last game I came to was with my wife before kids and real life reared its head. That was the BAMA game in 2006 - the last time we won. I choose to believe that my absence is why the drought has persisted...haha..but srsly 😞...and I hope to change that this year. I'm terrible at finding tickets to anything and don't have the stomach to just show up and hope for tickets because I'm able to do something like this so infrequently. If anyone can help me out with two, either know the best place to get them or have two available, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll keep my eyes peeled on third-party sites and check back in summer with university as well.

My number is 501-944-8692 and email is jpeice620@hotmail.com in case anyone has anything come available.

Thanks again for all the info.

Well we don't want you to come if you are bringing a Bama fan. We want orange only. There has been way too many Bama fans buying tickets last few years. Embarrassing seeing that much red in Neyland. Now if your friend wears orange and stays quiet we will consider letting him come with you.

That's because they count those standing on the sidelines, photographers, players, ushers etc etc. 107K is a little much though with only 102,455 seats.

We are actually almost sold out of season tickets. The AD is cautiously optimistic that they will all be taken. The single game tix come from the left over season tix so it may get tight. I have three pairs is different areas and I will sell some of them as the season approaches and I figure out who in my clan will be using them. I'll post sections and prices in a month or so. I only sell to TN fans period no exceptions. I will burn them in the street before I let a non Vol into our house.
