that link is to sign up for emails regarding UT Athletics, not ticket purchases. Now they might send that list of people notice when single game tickets go on sale next week. Look for that to begin on the 14th.

They advertised that anyone who signs up for this would be able to get tix on the 9th.

It's all good though. Shady came through ahead of time.

You should not have posted this - the code is to allow donors to make purchases before they are open to the general public. Now you have given scalpers access to face value tickets that would have otherwise gone to real Vol fans at face value and will instead end up on Stubhub for 2x or 3x the face value of the ticket.

If that were true, donors would need to log in first before accessing the promotional code, right?

it is true, but they should have just required donors to log in to buy instead of giving a promo code for anyone to be able to use.

fortunately i got some extras before he leaked it
